It makes me so sad cause Wilbur’s trying to make up for not being the dad to Fundy that he should’ve been even when he’s dead now.
Feels bad, Fundy has the most tragic story, he lost his mother at starts of the first wars, he watched his own father drive himself into insanity, his mascots were killed, when he was with Jschlatt he lived with all his friends hating him because they thought he was betraying them, even when they took back L'manburg his father didnt make him president and not even got recognition for his work, then he watched his nation get blown up by his own father as he watched him get killed by his grandfather and now he lives troubled by dealing with the ghost of his father
And after Wilbur died he's just trying to be a good father to Fundy which makes this even more emotional

I KNOW! It is so tragic! And I understand wanting to be adopted by Eret, because Fundy just needs a stable father figure, but at the same time, it is going to seriously strain his relationship with Ghostbur.
Don't forget that he was born in a girls body, decided to be a boy but is now called princess by everyone

But I seriously love this narrative that's been going on of Wilbur trying to be good to Fundy and trying to bond with him and Fundy feeling so conflicted about the whole thing. Because on one hand, Wilbur really wasn't there for him and arguably kind of traumatized him to an extent, and so Fundy wants to be bitter and angry but like.. Wilbur's making an effort now and he's being very kind.
Not only that, but it's hard to blame someone for something they don't even remember. It's hard to be bitter toward someone who doesn't even know what they did wrong.
Yeah, I love ghostbur and I was wondering how Fundy and his relationship would be like.
i know 🥺 like i completely understand why Fundy is upset, but Ghostbur has got no clue what’s going on and just wants to be a good dad
I think it's fair to say plenty of others contributed to alive-Wilbur's descent into madness as well, everyone's just trying to work out their angst lol

This song actually reminds me of the relationship me and my grandpa had, where I really hated him but I still loved him.
And this song is a wonderful representation of Wilbur and Fundy's relationship, and your animatic is so.. it looks so dynamic and shows a lot of emotions. So, I just wanna say I really love this animatic you made :)
