No doubt you have gone all the way down the Davina rabbit hole. Like you, the pandemic has led me down the same hole and I don’t want to come up for air. She needs a major recording contract. Even her own music is awesome (Skyward) and more! She has so much emotion and the ability to own every song. This is why she stands out above the original artists. She can Soul, Pop, Pop Rock, Rock, and anything else we can throw at her. Hell, she can probably kill Country! If you haven’t already listen to Take Me to Church and Hallelujah, give them a listen. Enjoy!
Several foreign voice coaches (without knowing each other) have already stated that Davina brings the song to life.(note:Davina never had or took singing lessons)
She is a exceptional talent, that's for sure. But unfortunately Dutch artists are not picked up by America, the American music culture is a bit deaf in that respect. I would like that to change. But thanks any way HHN for this reaction. I wish you had a answer to promote this women in the USA.

I've followed Davina since she had 14 thousand subscribers, she just hit 1 million.... She said when she made the PINK "WHAT ABOUT US" video she was hung over from her friends birthday party! WTF!! Ha!! She is alone on a whole other level!! She is just as friggin good live too... You found her at the right time.. Since you said you like discovering new talents on the internet...Do you enjoy a good harmony? If you do, you could consider listening to the three sisters called Og3ne (pronounced as Ogene). Their harmonies are amazing. They did several medleys during this time of home isolation and couldn’t get together (one of the sisters has some medical issues, she has only one lung and asthma so the had to be careful). Those medleys are unbelievable, because each of them sung their own part not hearing the other two sisters. If that makes sence...😄. You could have a listen to their version of Bohemian Rapsody. Even if it’s just for your own enjoyment. Thanks again for your comments on Davina!

I don’t know if you found our other Dutch pop goddess , Glennis Grace (best Withney Houston cover singer), but she can sing every thing as well. She do some WH tributes, but the she gives great concerts together with her friends every year. This concerts “Ladies of Soul” are great. When you love classics you should see this! Enjoy
