I think Hyundai and Kia are streets ahead in the EV market, providing the best overall packages in terms if performance and design. The EV6, for me, is the best EV currently in the market.
Until Kia fixes the EV6's cold-gating issues (might already have), their charging in winter is subpar.
The Design is terrible like Tesla.

You are going to love it. I have the GT-Line and I don't miss my Audi A6 Quattro Supercharged nor do I miss the BMW. This drives just as comfortable (if not more) and is faster, and cheaper and looks premium all around.
Honestly one of the best generated motorsounds when driving and accelerating in an EV.👍🏻

I've been a Sorento guy since 2003 and am thinking of getting one of those EVO6 one ot these days, or at least when they are easier to get. Great video and very rare to see how fast can a car go. One other thing, we didn't how much power these tests have taken on the battery.

@@eyadmubarak9936 Nah, not in 5 minutes, it takes a bit longer for that. It took around 9 seconds to drop from 78% to 77%. This means 100% should last around 900 seconds, which is 15 minutes (ignoring Acceleration which will drain the battery faster than just holding the speed, so in reality im pretty sure you can go atleast 25-30 minutes holding this speed). In this time while driving 255 Km/h he will cover ~64 Kilometers.
Im having the RWD EV6 with only 229HP and if i just take it slow with 130km/h i can cover ~370-400 kilometers in one single charge. Or for our easymeasurementsystemhating friends from the country of gunshotwounds: While holding a speed of 81 MPH i can cover ~3.644,4444444166666666666666666667 lenghts of footballfields (437333,33333 yards for easier understanding, atleast i think that would be easier but i know Freedomaniers love footballfields).

although even in ICE cars, you can see the range drop significantly when flooring it; There is a kind of known video, where I think a Corvette fuel gage can be seen actually moving when driven at top speed on the Autobahn (also, a Bugatti Chiron/Veyron will struggle to manage 100km at full speed...)
Gas cars will also drop their mpg significantly when floored. So super car normally is 15 mpg but when floored will drop down below 8 mpg. Driving a super car like this KIA won't get you 100 miles on a full tank.
Cool range drops as it goes faster :D

I've been interested in buying the EV6 AWD for over a year but Kia Canada keeps telling everybody 18-24 months. I know people who've been waiting over 18 months so it's kind of a joke. They just aren't sending cars to Canada. Lame. Always enjoy your videos! Thanks.
I recommend Turkey-made TOGG. 0-100 is just 4.5 seconds. It's a fully electric car.

A few years ago this was the territory of a E63 AMG 4matic or a RS6.
Except those cars were beautiful to look at, didn't weigh 2.5 tons, made a fantastic sound, and could actually go around corners.

AWD plus high HP will be fast for any car mate no matter the powertrain. The cars you listed offer more engagement and satisfaction beyond going in a straight line. Even when going in a straight line ICE cars offer exciting drama to climb up in speed. Pagan cars meh.
Late to the game, but the EV6 weighs just under 2 tons while both the RS6 and AMG63 sit just above 1900 kg, so the difference is less then 100 kg. Also worth to mention is that the EV6 tops both the other premium "Autobahn" cruisers in the acceleration game. @@DjNikGnashers

I'm picking up my latest car purchase in 2 days time, a low mileage OG M2. They are not perfect, but at least have a zillion times more character, soul, style, and driving enjoyment than anything like an EV6, Tesla, etc etc etc.

Sadly they forgot the luggage compartment. Otherwise it would be my dream car. Also the estimated delivery is bad line all car’s atm.
It has plenty of trunk space. I have the GT-Line and can fit in luggage for 2 traveling people easily in there.
@@cyberathlete I found the space very small for such a big car and also due to the falling roof very unpredictable. Mounting points and hooks where also missing.

I like the EV6 GT but the range 300km on the autobahn sucks, if you want to do a road trip you need to keep looking for the fast chargers
If you're using the Autobahn as a german you have a useful range around 150 km (10-80%, measured with Tesla MYP). I guess that the powertrain of the EV6 GT is less efficient, so you may get 120 km.
@@blendarious No way ! Unless you are cruising on Autobahn with GT mode, but who would do that ? I would cruise in ECO mode and use the GT mode only to overtake. This should give around 250 km range with a reasonable speed

drive an V8 or V10 realy quick, you lost the same but you did not see it direkt on a small fuel gauge. Audi A6 V10 a slower car then the Kia 300KM 80liters 98oktan if you want a car that goes like this you need minimum 20liter+/100Km. Everyone hwo say thats wrong is talking shit and doesn´t own a car with a powerfull engine 400+PS or he sneak drives like a stupid idiot.

In Deutschland with the Autobahn, I guess it makes sense to have the GT. Here in the States, given the conditions of the roads, the really bad drivers, and the speed limits, high performance cars are pointless except on the track. In reality, because many who drive them have no idea how to handle them responsibly, they are really more of a hazard than anything

You need to be in zero regen and you’ll be faster. You had it in 1. Also Drift Mode is faster 0-60,and so on. Also battery over 70% is best. I get 0-60 2.99 1/4 11.4!

More than 200kmh: Every 2sec = 1km less range as calculated through onboard system 😂😂😂 (blue number on the right) . So 350km left. 350*2= 700sec = 11,7 minutes. 35km you can drive full speed, then its over 😂.

Only if you keep accelerating like that. Once you hit your top speed, that you will drive this at, let's say 90 mph, the battery decline will become steady and you can actually drive it out over an hour. I know this because I own the 356hp one and I drove it at 90mph with the battery dropping pretty slowly and steadily.

Let me help you: this ev6 gt is better in everything except the range. In real life conditions, at 0 degree celsius, cruising at 130km/h in eco mode, you can manage 250 km with the gt.

Wir haben den RWD mit 77er Akku, ich denke der AWD ist der beste Kompromiss aus Fahrspaß und Alltagsnutzen bzw. Reichweite.
Und weiter? Wenn Du mit nem anderen Supercar in der PS-Range ständig Vollgasnummern drehst, dann kannste der Tanknadel auch zusehen.

Der startet noch etwas besser, wenn du ihn mit der Bremse am Start hältst, das Gas voll durch trittst und dann die Bremse löst. Ich versuche es mal zu beschreiben. So wie du los gefahren bis: Auto steht. Du gibst Gas, Auto denk: "Oh er will jetzt los", gut ich gebe alles. Die andere Methode: du trittst die Bremse und anschließend Vollgas: Auto denkt. OK, er will jetzt gleich los, ja man ich bin ready, lass das Bremspedal los und ich gebs dir. (Muskeln sind sozusagen angespannt) :-D
It will start a little better if you hold it at the start with the brake, step on the gas fully and then release the brake. I'll try to describe it. The way you drove off: Car stops. You step on the gas, the car thinks: "Oh he wants to go now", well I give everything. The other method: you step on the brake and then full throttle: car thinks. OK, he wants to go right now, yes man I'm ready, let go of the brake pedal and I'll give it to you. (Muscles are tense, so to speak) :-D

BMW is just as quick. I got 8.7 sec 100-200 kmh. And 3.43 sec 0-60. And trapped 121mph in the quarter. Wish we could see what the Kia traps at.
