Do they have flood insurance? Latest FIRM shows the house very close to being in an A zone without a BFE (base flood elevation). A zones without a BFE are the most expensive rates in the NFIP.

Serious question. Why are realtors tossing aside true Mainers who were born here? We can't get close to obtaining affordable housing because realtors cater to out of state buyers and their vacation homes. Even going through the first time home buyers program there's literally nothing that's obtainable because every property is being used as an AirBnD, vaction rental or second home for out of state buyers. It's honestly a disgrace to this state and you're setting up young Mainers and their futures for failure. Very sad.

Rugs. laminate. Mardens has sales on hardwood that is low cost and so so tough, beautiful! Wire brushed oak for example is solid wood and on sale! 😁
