I hit pause at 495k. Sorry.
A little much
@@user-lm2pj8cq7q Folks everywhere are starting to come to their senses and recognizing that its all over priced.
Way, way overpriced.
New Jersey prices….
That’s no trailer park!
Need more
There's no way you're getting that in Jersey for 500k...
You submit a 44 acre frog pond in NJ and a 16,000 acre cold water lake in ME and consider that comparable. 🤔
You have million dollar houses in the burbs with no lake frontage in Jersey. It's still a fair price
Rick, another fantastic showing. I’m also enjoying the comments from people I know will not be my neighbors when I find the right place for me. That only adds to the attraction of living in northern Maine.
There are a lot of "experts" out there for sure with this platform. Hopefully you will find your piece of Maine that is ideal for you.
Beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!
Before the pandemic, place like this were going for 300k or less. When folks started fleeing into Maine, prices skyrocketed.
Great price. It should be gone before the video is over. The only downside is it faces northeast and isn't as cool in the summer and cold cold in the winter. I love this place!!!! Beautiful Hearthstone soapstone wood stove. The best in my opinion.
You do not live in Maine.
Gorgeous home 🏡
Beautiful. I don't think that's going to be on the market for very long. 🎉
WOW WOW WOW!!! What a beautiful home beautiful location!!! The lake is so clean! That downstairs space would make a nice family room
Thanks for watching and commenting Alex.
Beautiful home that lake wow
Beautiful water for sure. Thanks for the comments.
Sweet!!
I would be interested if it had 50 acres
JFK JR was sitting behind him. With the top hat
Very nice
Not even in today's market is that 500 k
$495,000....not a chance, $300,000 maybe.
It’s beautiful, unfortunately NYC Mavericks comments were spot on, but great job Rick on a beautiful home. Keep up the good work you’re the master.
for this price you can find dozens of way better properties in NORTHERN Maine!
I guess you have not looked recently for lakefront homes in northern Maine. If they are similar at all to this home then the listing price seems to be north of $600k, and there are very few options available. There is a "camp" just up the road from me on a different lake. Uses lake drawn water and it is on the market for $545000. The prices go up from there.
This IS in northern Maine, just not in "The County" but it's damn close. Even small run down dumps on East Grand are selling at ridiculous prices to people from out of state. I know exactly where this place is, and it's beautiful. It's a HOME, not a camp, and waterfront like that gets the money!
Dude, we love you but why do you take so long to go into the house…?
Well it is because I am showing the property, not just the interior of a house.
@@richardtheriault7624 I get that when there is acreage involved…either way our buddy Rick does a great job on his vids! Seems like a good dude too!
I want to know about property as much or more than the house
Let me guess how many people complain about the price?
This is an impeccable year-round home I wouldn't call this a cabin.
The view is stunning, it's a fairly new build with numerous heat sources top of the line construction.
It's not in my price range but if I have the money I would buy it in a heartbeat it's beautiful.
Electricity, well, septic we need to stop thinking like it's 1999 these are the prices and I think the price is just You can actually make a fourth bedroom here.
One of my favorite properties they've ever shown.
Thank-you for the comments Scott.
A truly top class build at every level.
It's not really 1999 prices more like precovid prices . Maine took a big hike just like every where else for nice rural properties . Many people decided to leave the cesspool that most cities are now.
You can make the lower part into a kitchenette and rent it out in the summer
Great idea.
Its nice but what is it? A retirement home? A vacation home? You can't live here and expect to find a job in the area to support the mortgage so a regular buyer is out. Probably not a retirement home too much upkeep. Vacation home maybe gut it is super remote so getting there and maintaining it is an issue. I like it but there are other better options available.
Agreed.
It is interesting that you should say that, as there are quite a few people living on Sandy Beach Road full time and raising families. Now the phrase quite a few is relative of course, but that is the case. There are also older camps being bought, torn down and replaced with year round lake homes, and people are living there.
It's a vacation home and one of the reasons it's being sold furnished . Who ever buys Or who owns it is only there a few months a year in the summer that's why there's no garage . A retirement home that I can see though . If I could swing 500 K I would by that . Been to that lake and it's beautiful . I wish I could just find a buildable lot on that lake for sale for under 70 K I would buy it in a minute . The area like you said is very remote but the lots which aren't many are priced high
A lot of folks up there work remotely. We've spent many vacations up there, almost 30, and made a lot of acquaintances who do just that. We also know several owners who own seasonal businesses elsewhere and live up there all winter. It's just as beautiful in January as it is in July.
Might as well be in Canada... look at the size of that lake!!!!
