Adam and Eve enjoyed perfect relationship with God until they doubted His goodness and pushed beyond the boundaries of His plan. God, however, did not abandon them to their sin’s consequences. As Alistair Begg explains, within the context of Adam and Eve’s rebellion we receive the promise of a cure: the one who would crush the serpent’s head. We rejoice in Jesus’ birth as the fulfillment of God’s promise.

What a very powerful message! The thing I'm reminded of in hearing the Genesis account is that everything had to happen; it had to happen exactly the way it did, it's all part of GOD's plan, according to His Will & ultimately it's ALL to/for His Glory.
I Listen to this godly man he speaks truth, truth thats hard to hear but truth that we need to hear!

Interesting that he brought up Woodstock.
I took a course recently on Woodstock and got to visit the site. It was very interesting and Alistair Begg's description of it is good and fair. In the course we talked about drug use and the sexual revolution. On the last day of the week long course I offered my view to the class on how the sexual revolution was largely a failure, citing no-fault divorce, adultery, promiscuity, illegitimacy, a break down of the family, and so on. The need for sexual boundaries is essential. And it doesn't mean less enjoyment of life. The professor, who really loved Woodstock and was a true expert on the topic, agreed. Other students seemed surprised that I was saying it, but were very interested in my personal testimony and some thanked me for sharing. BTW, there are some misconceptions about Woodstock, most predicated on glorification of the politics, drug and sex culture of the late '60s. But the museum and site are worth the trip if you are up that way in Catskills in upstate New York.

Did God actually say He is "righteous"? Did He say He "is light, and there is no darkness in Him"?
God is not going to be insulted if we deprive Him of resposibility for creating moral evil. Not even His sovereignty is going to move Him to accept the authorship of sin. "Light, and no darkness in Him," is whom He sovereignly chooses to be. He created a creation with the possibility of falling, probably to make our moral choices meaningful, in His image in that way, but there is no time that He would have cherished and created moral evil. No more than He would have had the Israelites sacrifice their children. He knew they would, but He said that it didn't come from Him: it didn't enter His mind. And He does not lie.

Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus was not born on December 25th nor did he tell anyone to celebrate that specific day.
December 25th is the birthdate of 2 roman sun gods, and the Christmas tree and holiday wreath came from the pagan festival Yuletide!
Who is Santa Claus? Why do we lie to our children that an old man can see all, hear all, and has the right to hear judgement on who is wrong or right? Isn't that Jesus' job? Why do we tell our children to be good for Santa Claus and not for the Lord Jesus who is God, our everlasting king?
If you call yourself a follower of Jesus it is time to wake up. This holiday has NEVER had anything to do with Christ. It is of pagan origins for other gods and had been taken by the Roman Catholics who slapped Jesus' name on it in order to appease the pagans and convince them to turn to monotheism.
Ask yourself, why do you go and buy a tree that was cut out of the forest. Why do you put silver and gold ornaments and lights on it? Why do you put presents under it? Why do you make an offering of cookies for Santa knowing he does NOT exist? These are altars, and again, have NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ.
But let's see what God has to say about the Christmas tree.
Jeremiah 10:2-4 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. ‼️
For the customs of the people are 👉🏼 vain:👈🏼for one cutteth 🪓 a tree 🌲out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
They deck it with silver and with gold; 🎄 they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 🔨
Sound familiar? If ye have ears, hear the word of the Lord. These are pagan traditions that never had anything to do with Jesus Christ!!! The pagans worshipped the winter solstice and made this time of year a time for festival, pagan worship and gift giving. This is in your history books and Google searches if you do not believe me.
Turn to the LORD while you still can. Come out of this paganism and follow the LORD with all your heart before it is too late. This holiday is made in continuation for money by hungry rich men and greedy pastors! We should give ALL the time. To the poor and needy, to our children and friends. In Jesus name amen. ‼️
