Well explained, I believe that most who listen can understand about our righteous Sovereign God, and that we too must do what God has revealed to do.

I pray the Lord spills his spirit like sweet thick honey that sticks to my children, where they must taste and see that God is so good. Every night before I sleep I want his words filling my mind.
The nights when I go to bed thinking of the Word and wake up with the Word ministering to my heart are my favorite.
It's amazing the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever, but we are conformed to His likeness each day were given. On the other side of eternity we will forever be learning of His sameness. If some people do the same things they get bored. Jesus being the same is forever never boring.

There is nothing more heartening to a believer, than to experience Christ working welcome changes in your life. Becoming free from acting out sins you've come to hate. This is the knowledge divine that you are indeed a Child of God. Nothing compares to it. As for S. Hawking, he's now dead and gone.

Praise the Lord our God for this message. Denying my old life is something I have been praying about and it seems that God has been listening. I have only discovered Pastor Begg within the past few weeks, and even then listening to sermons is not common place for me, so to see that this has been posted today in what feels like the climax to my struggle is greatly comforting. Again, thank the Lord.

I have 2 favorite pastors Lankford Moore of New Life in Jesus Christ Church, my home church since 1986 and Alistair Begg whom I've been listening to since May 2013. If I a was a pastor I would reference lyrics too. I'm a musician and I know about 99 percent of the time what song he refers too. Everything from Beatles to Nirvana. Not to mention he is always on point too

@@holzmann- Well, pastor Begg quotes many secular songs and they fit perfectly into his sermons. Many times he uses the lyrics to prove the foolishness of celebrity popularity and expose their agenda to corrupt young minds.

There is only one god (Allah) and Muhammad peace be upon him is Allah’s last prophet. Jesus peace be upon him is Allah’s true prophet.
If Jesus is God's true prophet, as a Muslim what do you make of John 14:6? "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father but by me." Through His attoning death and resurrection we have the forgiveness of sins, and yes that happened the cross of Christ wasn't a trick, Isaiah the prophet spoke of His soul being made an offering for sin 700 years before Jesus came. Isiah 53. Jesus whom you admit is a "true prophet" spoke of being "lifted up" as was the serpent in the wilderness in the book of numbers chapter 21. Please read these passages objectivly.
