I think the white powder is a growth hormone. Go to local plant nursery ask for info.
Thsnk you for your video!! What was the white powder you put on the cut area of the stem please?? It looked like root starter to me! Thank you and God bless ! 🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

Oh
Where do you work with these all methods at the very much different orchids (cause at all videos the sun ☀️ is shining, so I think it's a very warm country, I only want to know cause the climatic🌡and that all needs much more time than shown and some don't work)❓ I try to this since soooo long time here in Germany 🇩🇪 with exactly this method at the orchid/ mother plant growing Keikis (or like they called) and it worked well, 4 ones I got on this way, 1 died, cause it falls down from the mother plant (I don't know why) and the roots wasn't strong enough this time to keep alive and 2 was growing spontaneous 2 orchids. Now I do it at 6 very beautyful orchids (1 with 1 spontaneous, 1 with 3, 1 with 2 and 1 spontaneous, 1 with 4, 1 with 5 or 6 and 1 with really not lied 8) and the one with the 8 Keikis is the biggest try I ever do at my oldest, biggest, strongest orchid and now after 2 month 3 of them are growing slowly, the other ones are in different stadiums, but all are activated. I think they need much more than a half year in this time and amount clearly. The mother plant grows very good, new roots are growing, the leaves are extremely strong, hard, extremely green and almost impossible to move or they would snap, only the lowermost smaller one of the huge leaves keeps changing and turning yellow, then it turns completely light green again, but stays alive, also it keeps rooting. I try to open up a part of my Aloe Vera plant at intervals and attach it directly to the spots with a clamp for 10-20 minutes, but nothing happens. Can I repot the orchid now as the pot is getting too small or should I wait❓ And can the problem of the very slow growing of the hopefully so soon as possible (not only the 8 ones, single ones, especially one) Keikis, roots of orchids with different problems, like one, where I must cut ⅔ of it's much roots maybe be the much colder climate (the
very much whole helpfully videos (not all happened, but I'm a beginner instead of you, I do it just since 1½ or 2 years) are at shiny ☀️ and warm🌡weather)❓ When does an orchid grow a Keiki of its own, even relatively high up where it could still grow a flowering stem instead? Is that a sign that she's doing very badly? However, and that's why she might want to multiply herself in this way as far as she can? However, I also have an actually strong and healthy large orchid in full bloom on one shoot and a second shoot that has already bloomed. When I cut it down 2 months ago, I saw a small but clear one that looked like a 3-pointed crown Keiki noticed that since pruning about 2 months ago, this has grown insignificantly despite the regular help of clipped Aloe Vera leaf pieces, although nothing else is growing on this shoot, only the 1st flowering shoot has remained very active, the flowers are after more than 2 months not yet fading. On the 2nd shoot with only the only, extremely slow-growing Keiki, I have loosely attached a cotton pad to the lower part for some time now, which I spray with water every day (it is completely dry every day, I would like to help the Keiki with it because of the low growth and hope 🙏🏻 it also helps and relieves the orchid a bit, maybe the Keiki is not being supplied with enough moisture from the orchid because it needs more than the full bloom before (both shoots had the same, very big bloom), since there is at least one new orchid, so it may be more strenuous for the mother plant and hopefully the Keiki will at least grow a little bit faster as a result 🙏🏻...), always try to combine different biological fertilizers individually with orchids that bloom so strongly that they are as get a lot of strength, which seems to help really well with the 1st shoot, the orchid is also absolutely not to be overloaded, since the leaves do not become slightly wrinkled, limp or a little paler, as with some other flowering orchids, in this case does not even get yellow leaves and yes, the complete flowers still do not fade even after the long time on the 1st shoot and the orchid is not in direct light. What am I doing wrong❓❓❓ When can I do something to speed up the growth of the Keiki somehow so that it doesn't take dozens of months until the Keiki is finally ready to be potted❓❓❓
Orchids are best suited for tropical climates
