HQ wasn't as present during this time, but it came to a nasty head during one of the Batman storylines where, in order to increase the stakes, they went even darker and more nasty than Joker had ever been. I prefer the Joker where the extent is the freaky but curable laughing gas, but mostly he just caused havoc and robbed banks etc. This new one.... went even further than killing, and in that the abuse of Harley went from manipulation of her feelings to get her to help to actual physical abuse. This had come around the time of a storyline where Harley was with the suicide squad, and the call to separate her from Joker completely was heavy. This focus, and her newfound separation caused the storyline to extremely focus on her character, since she had been explored but only as a side-character. She became very popular and now she's all over the place. I like her, but she shows up a bit too much for my taste. Joker was so obsessed with batman, he didnt give a single drop of care to harley, whilst batman kept trying to keep her from taking her final breath. He did the most basic thing, of keeping her out of cross fire, and yet, it was 3x more care than joker ever gave her
This is always the hardest part of watching these shows, batman still saved Harley, he knew the situation she was in, he knew she wasn't in her right mind and tried everytime he could to save her. The heros always know that the story is never black and white, no one is born evil they are made evil and batman knows that. Something made them like this..
Which is why batman doesn't kill. He doesn't mean for the villains to constantly murder people. He does indirectly kill people by not killing the villains. The comics take it even further showing harley wasnt even the 1st women he used like this. He chains her into a cell with the body of the previous versions of Harley's rotting bodies.

Mad respect for Batman tho, he knows Harley is being manipulated so he doesn't target her at all (maybe until she starts doing her own thing idk I haven't seen the show yet), even going out of his way to save her life before going after the joker
he always tries to get the villains to snap out of it. that's why he tries to refer to their old names knowing they are all broken people. he has given mercy but mostly fell on deaf ears
This is just another woke twist they gave to Harley as to redeem all female characters & say men are bad & they turn women bad. Ruining DC every single day.
As I got old I really began to hate batman. Having the power to kill a mass murderer and choose to lock him up just so he could escape and kill thousands more and call it justice is bullshit
Batman always respected Harley...she hated Batman because of how he made Joker feel. But Batman treated her better than the Joker ever did. And I think that's a true testament of the fact that, despite the fact that he doesn't have the most friendly personality, Batman is truly a hero.

People finally realising Joker liked batman this entire time
Yeah, he is quite flamboyant. That and jokers existence as a villain is probably fueled by his desire to piss batman off more than any self gratification anymore
@@L0rdOfThePies Not really sure why, since the second Batman catches him he beats the snot out of him. Leaving him clinging to life and likely being rushed to urgent care before being returned to arkham asylum.
@@Putin_Gaming15 but he does escape again, and again, and again.
I wouldn't say love. He is just obsessed with him. Maybe it has a bit of love in that obsession, but that love is a hurtful love
@@Putin_Gaming15 what if jokers just kinky

@{𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒮𝒾𝓁𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝑀𝑜𝑜𝓃} somewhat, so yeah, they have bromance
@@BulletZoid I mean it’s not really, Batman doesn’t care about him and joker is obsessed and probably has a twisted kinda love so opposite of a bromance

Yeah sure is easy to became a certified psychiatrist in order to heal yourself
well this only worked for her since she was already one before being harley

But it's always important to reach out if you need serious help. You can't always handle everything on your own.
No cuz this made me cry- 😭
I loved this show! My profile picture-
I'm glad they actually showed their relationship as toxic. Not romanticize an unhealthy relationship.
In literally every Harley and joker scene it's always been about the toxicity of the relationship, never as healthy. Weirdos who want to be like them don't understand them as characters at all
Harley and Joker was NEVER romantic, I never read a single comic showing some kind of "relationship" that way.
People start this thing and I really wanna know since when start this kind of topic.
The comics take it even further showing harley wasnt even the 1st women he used like this. He chains her into a cell with the body of the previous versions of Harley's rotting bodies.
@@renren225 ouch!
Since when people has been really romanticizing these two ? The only kinda healthy relationships they had was in suicide squad
I love how people never noticed how joker only cared about Batman in a lot of movies and shows, and the only time he really cared for Harley was in suicide squad
Even in the legos Batman movie he was obsessed with him talking about they’re best enemies and when batman rejected him he got so hurt 😂
That's because they edited all the parts out to make it look like he did and then everyone started to romanticize it.
I thought suicide squad portrayed the original comics
Right, and realize that Batman wasin't really In the movie only In a few scenes but Joker wasin't Involved
@@Sav_Rodri17 yes, but even in that short clip of batman and them when he went into the water knowing Harley couldn’t swim and just left her there to be captured

Arkham Origins did this really well too
Ship that I don't know has been shipped just popped in my head (Harley and Bat-)
Hailllll yeah that always been my ship they are so perfect I mean look how many times he tries to save her from her own blind love he's always had a soft spot for her
Mad respect for Batman tho, he knows Harley is being manipulated so he doesn't target her at all (maybe until she starts doing her own thing idk I haven't seen the show yet), even going out of his way to save her life before going after the joker
he always tries to get the villains to snap out of it. that's why he tries to refer to their old names knowing they are all broken people. he has given mercy but mostly fell on deaf ears
Show has great writing I recommend it
Should still lock her up or something she will or has still killed.
Hope is what keeps him from killing villains.

Rule 34
As I got old I really began to hate batman. Having the power to kill a mass murderer and choose to lock him up just so he could escape and kill thousands more and call it justice is bullshit
Batman always respected Harley...she hated Batman because of how he made Joker feel. But Batman treated her better than the Joker ever did. And I think that's a true testament of the fact that, despite the fact that he doesn't have the most friendly personality, Batman is truly a hero.
I have a comic where Joker does actually love Harley but he is still a villan and he only knows how to love as much as he can
This is heartbreaking. I hate how Batman, their "enemy", literally "loved" her more than Joker did. I feel so bad for her.
She was the one who became so enamored with him.....she did it to herself.
