I've looked into the Self Sponsorship route but the problem is the Home Office does a compliance visit at year 4, and if they don't renew your Sponsorship Licence, you would lose your Skilled Worker Visa before you are eligible for Indefinite Leave to Remain. You would have to quickly find a sponsor if the Home Office decides not to renew your Sponsor Licence.
