    Awesome job mate. Would you recommend these over the e50's? Is it worth the extra £20? I'm just listen to electronic/ Dubstep/Trance/ drum and bass. I'm kinda left confused which is better so Please recomended as I wanna buy one of them tomorrow on amazon :) thanks.

      I think i'm going to go with the E80's because they look better. The E50's look plastic. Maybe the E80's are better

      I sold them...far too neutral sounding for my music. They're great earphones but just not for me by the way they sound.

    Hello.. I took soundmagic e80 for 54$ and i have soundmagic e10 too and i found ur review genuine. I am using them with my smartphone . As they have impedance of 64ohm do they need amplifier? On what devices did you test them and did you find difference between using with smartphone and with an amplifier ?? Like i mean does the music quality and soundstage improved or remained same ??

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 8 lety

      +Rahul Mundargi I find it hard to believe they have such a high impedance - it's probably a typo, but should be 6 ohms impedance!
      Smartphones do make a difference, depending on their internal audio DAC chips or SoC chipsets, but I tested it through my Honor 7 and it was fine, maybe a little on the low side, but that's partially due to my H7's driving ability. =

    • @rahulmundargi5442
      @rahulmundargi5442 Před 8 lety +2

      No its not typo error..its written on the box and even its there in internet..even PL50 had same high impedance. so how will the high impedance affect power requirement of the earphone?

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 8 lety

      +Rahul Mundargi they would...but 64ohms!? I didn't have such driving problems - 64 would imply a lot of extra power needed.

    • @rahulmundargi5442
      @rahulmundargi5442 Před 8 lety +1

      +totallydubbedHD Ya..Does your H7 has such driving ability? And what do you think about fiio x1 music player? will it be good to drive such high impedance earphones ?

    • @rahulmundargi5442
      @rahulmundargi5442 Před 8 lety +1

      +Rahul Mundargi soundmagicheadphones.com/collections/earphones/products/soundmagic-e80-in-ear-isolating-earphones-red. You can check the above link. they have clearly mentioned that the earphone has very high impedance and will require a DAP or headphone amplifier to get best out of it. Did u also test them with DAP or headphone amplifier ??

    +totallydubbedHD does e80s have a good bass i want earphones with a good sound quality & a good bass & what's the difference between e10s & e80s

  • @Sebilion12
    @Sebilion12 Před 7 lety

    Are these good for deep bass? I am listening mainly to metal music, so I need less treble and more bass. I am using the Samsung galaxy note 8, can it drive them?

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 7 lety +1

      Note 8 will drive it - bass wise, watch the vid!

    • @Sebilion12
      @Sebilion12 Před 6 lety +1

      so, I guess not good enough for bass, thanks for saving me some money :)

    So would you recommend your Fischer over the e80s

  • @ClawHammer00

    I'm now using E10S, and i've heard the sound quality of P21S. P21S sounds better than E10S. How does E80 compared to P21S? Which one is better in sound quality?

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 9 lety

      Ferianto Tjendera well one is a headphone the other an earphone - they shouldn't really be compared.
      Hard to say really in terms of that - I would edge towards the E80 I guess

    • @ClawHammer00
      @ClawHammer00 Před 9 lety

      ***** i know they should't be compared. But after i heard my friend's P21S, i'm planning to upgrade to it from E10S. Even if it's a headphone, I prefer the better quality though. If you say the E80 sounds better than P21S, I would wait for it to be available in my country.

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 9 lety

      If you liked the P21S, you should get it, I mean I love it. Trust your own experience and ears in that respect. You might prefer a more open sound, which can only truly be achieved by headphones.

    • @ClawHammer00
      @ClawHammer00 Před 9 lety

      Yes, but i never heard E80, so just want your opinion as you have both. Which one do you like in terms of sound quality only. Regardless of their differences.

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 9 lety

      Ferianto Tjendera as I said - I can't really pick between the two.

    How do these compare to sennheiser cx2.00? I use audio technica ath m50x on my computer and I want IEMs that sound as good or at least almost as good of less than 75$, are these good?

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 6 lety

      They are - although I'd probably get the Sennheiser Momentum earphones instead.

    • @danvar249
      @danvar249 Před 6 lety

      but the sennheiser cost 100$ and I've heard they're not as good.

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 6 lety

      they're good. Not sure about other ones at that price range from the top of my head

    how is it compared to cx 3.00?

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 8 lety +1

      I've heard the cx range and it's no where near as good or neutral sounding as the e80

    • @xeryan2747
      @xeryan2747 Před 8 lety

      Seriously? Wow i should get one. But E 80 is not angled, is it fit in ear as cx3.00?

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 7 lety

      from memory - the se215's have got better highs, but the e80s better mids and lows!

      @cheta586 Před 6 lety

      how they compare to rha ma750 in terms of sound quality ?? and do you think e80 could be driven on smartphone no matter of if they 64ohm ??

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 6 lety +1

      I don't know thew RHAs, so can't comment on that! They can be driven, just less easily :)
