Hey! this is working perfectly well...today is 5th day and my mint strands have started sprouting out roots.... Thanks for sharing.
    Steps that I followed:
1: Change water after every 2 days.
2:Placed stems in glass jar..so it could get direct sunlight.
3: placed the jar in direct sunlight in morning for few hours..though few leaves at top got burnet out...roots at end sprouted perfectly well..🌱🌿☘️

I can share another way to grow mints. What I do, I take some stems and process them like the same way she told. And then, instead of submerging them into the water, I plant them directly into the soil. The mints will starts getting black after 1 or 2 days but don't worry, that'll be fine. Soon you will notice that some tiny baby leaves, coming out of those dried stems. Then within a couple of days, the stems will become normal again. And that's pretty much it. After all these processes, you will get your baby mint plant ready to grow.

Please tell how to harvest mint leaves for cooking and allowing the plant to grow more
(How to cut the mint leaves without stopping it's growth)

    • @Harry-cy5vz
      @Harry-cy5vz Před 5 lety

Taking leaves will not stop growth. You can cut growing tips to encourage bushy growth, and individual leaves here and there. Now, you don't wanna take more than 30% of any given mint plant's leaves. If you ever worry that it may die from taking too much, you can take cuttings and start again.
If you're gonna be taking leaves from it often (like daily), get two so you can take from one then swap out and allow it to recover. Mint really isn't hard to grow, it can be quite invasive when growing in a garden (basically any Garden). Don't over-think it 😄((also don't cut main stems, or you may inhibit it growing taller. DO that if you like the size it is at though)

i have just started the love for indoor plants from quiet few months now. From today onwards i have started watching & following your videos/channel, for which i'm totally in love with. i love your videos coz you actually use the seeds/spices which are easily available in our kitchen, here is no need of buying or searching for the same which really in turns inspires me lot. Also you explain each & every thing in detail which is very helpful, also always connects your previous episode status/stage of the plant in your current video which helps not to get worried, if found similar/ non-similar condition. Few months back i have attended a worshop regarding home gardening, in that they explained for any plant we should start with sowing seed in cocopeat first then after slight germination (about 14days-21days) we have to shift it to suitable pot. Is cocopeat really necessary???

    Hi Dear,
I really appreciate your work and explanation. I am really looking forward to grow such a plants which can be easily grown in our small gardens or space. Please keep making these kind of simple videos for us and also make video on how to grow green chillies and curry leaves without seeds. I love gardening but getting scared if it doesn't work then could break my heart. Thank you for uploading simple yet effective process.

Heyyy...like most of us here, we all like your simple and well explained videos.
So we are new at gardening, and quite enthused at the idea and now want to grow just about everything. Which while we know is not possible, yet..
The request is if you could share a list of plants (fruits, veggies, herbs, garden, anything) by each month of the year, that we can consider to start growing, seeding , propogating.
I guess just the list, as the rest of your videos can cover the method for them.
This is specifically helpful for the viewers in India and around with similar weather conditions.
    Look forward to it.
Keep up the good good work 👍

I have also started gardening but not so intense. Water lily, night queen, mogra, and other show plants. It teaches us to be patience.
