Sir few important things which i came to know from other utubers as well while going for long drive
1. need to check all lights are properly functioning like dim dip, horn, side indicator
2. check wiper motor is functioning properly
3. take car charger + usb
4. Ensure proper google route is identified
5. ensure brakes are working properly if we go in hill areas
6. have torch light and tubeless tyre puncture kit
7. check whether battery is in good condition
8. make sure to take first aid kit and dynamo for stepny
9. make sure all doors and remote keys are properly locked and unlocked
10. verify AC and Heater is working
11. verify no leaks in under chassis
12. finally upload ilayaraja and ar rahman songs for melodious journey

Very good explanation, Few more points you may add sir ,1. Vehichle book and papers especially pollution certificate which most of us forget, 2. Check spare fuse panel and make sure you have all spare fuses in and know which fits where in the circuit. 3. Just park the vehicle at some spot for 10-15 minutes and move it and inspect the previous parking spot to check oil leaks. 4. Just make sure headlights , both beams , horn and wipers are working fine.

We gave to check wipers,headlights,indicator/parking lights, a/c,proper charge in battery,carry spare head light bulbs,road side assistance number readily available,engine grills properly cleaned,carry some spare ropes (in case of towing needed),jack in working condition,wheel spanner,check all switches and knobs in working condition, doors properly locking (check before moving the car if all doors properly locked (in some cars indicators are there to show if any door is not properly locked)

If you drive around your village town or city and if you have left the papers, you can get through someone in a short while. Whereas in long drive if you have not checked and don't possess them then you will cut a sorry in front of law enforcement officials and may have to face serious consequences.
