    What a great entertainer he was, with a beautiful voice and singing style.
    I keep coming back to this video, time and time again. Big smile on my mind seeing him innocently happy and fulfilled. (probably this concert was the last time I’ve noticed that-Thank to his lady & the awesome audiences who’ve helped made that happened.)
    A beautiful human- Dean Martin. He’s deserved the best.
    He’ll always be loved and remembered.
    Thank you for this complete show, sharing with us/the public. I’m appreciated.
    Good wishes in 2024🔔everyone.

    Thank you for posting this complete show. I've always loved this show. He was very happy to be in England with his dearest Jeanne by his side. Dean had a playful attitude during the show, and you could tell that he really enjoyed himself here. The British audience was great. Shaking hands with as many people as he could after the show had him smiling from ear to ear. God Bless Dean Martin. I really miss him.

    The date for this event is June 1983. I figured it had to be prior to March 1987. The reason: Dean jokes about sitting in the back of planes because “you never hear of planes backing into mountains.” Sadly irony - his son, Dean Paul Martin while piloting a plane, crashed into a mountain. That occurred in March 1987.

    Are you guys the same Dean Martin Association in England that sold lots of Dean Martin albums on the MFP Music For Pleasure record label? I bought some Dean Martin albums years ago from Surrey county England, I think it was. An album called The Dean Sings. And several others.

    Does Dean decide or does his Manager decide where and when he is going to do a Concert.

    • @deanmartinassociation
      @deanmartinassociation  Před rokem +3

      It would have been suggested where he could have performed but it was always his final decision. He was happiest performing in Vegas but his London concerts were his idea (he hated travelling, so we were delighted and surprised when he told us in early 1983 that he'd be heading to London for June that year.)

    I love Dean but the man never changed his act one iota in like 40 years. "Direct from the bar....DEAN MARTIN!!!....Drink to me only...that's all I aks....ASK.... Followed by "Bourbon from Heaven," yada yada yada...I could recite it in my sleep. Pretty tired routine that they could have freshened up maybe at least once in the course of 40 years.
