I find it incredible how the film industry is able to find two strangers from different places who maybe hadn’t met before and match them like puzzles creating a chemistry so natural it almost seem like they are a couple for real 😍

As a queer person I have to say one of the best authentic films depicting gay romance. I was very touched by this film. And they do have amazing chemistry, and are amazing actors.

Subtle, quiet, non manipulative film with great performances. If Brokeback Mountain was done even more realisticly/naturally, it would have been this understated gem of a film.
Josh and Alec have great chemistry in the movie.
Gemma Jones acting was brilliant, you can see the frustration, the worries, the fear she has as a mother and a grandmother in the film.
I saw this movie like 20 minutes ago and I loved it, Josh's perfomance is amazing and Alec's one stole my heart. But almost the last scene of Johnny and Gheorghe BRAVO so many emotions in that scene from Josh. Amazing movie.

Omg who is that bubbly adorable guy next to Alec?? Talk about transforming into a different person for your character! This is the first interview I’m seeing of Josh and holy crap my respect for his performance just skyrocketed. I mean I know the whole point of acting is to be convincing but he like really *became* Johnny Saxby.

Gods Own Country is a brilliant movie with universal appeal. Highly recommended to everyone. Each viewing one realises the layers of plol and importance of detail to a fuller and better appreciation of this films brilliance.

I saw the movie yesterday - at the opening of X international LGBT-movie-festive in St Petersburg, Russia (Friends, do you remember that Russia still remains a very homophobic country?) This is one of the best LGBT-movies that I've seen in the last couple of years (of feature films). Simple language. Emotional paints. About the main things. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return..." I love the movie. And many thanks to director and actors!

Absolutely amazing film, with phenomenal performances. I must have watched it 8 times in the last 2 weeks. Johnny's coming alive was nothing less than spellbinding and wonderfully moving. One comes away with these two guys firmly planted in one's consciousness, wishing them the best.

a movie that get you right in the feels! this is one of the best movies of Queercinema I've seen! and i've seen a lot! great acting, lots of chemestry between the leading actors, nice script, the story is so realistic, and it has a happy ending that most of this type of movies don't.

Your movie, due both to the story itself and to the actors' performances have caught my soul and senses completely. I could feel the emotions, the feelings, the desire, the land, the weather, the cold, the hardness of the job and, finally the love within and always present. It gave the feeling that I also, yet there are mistakes in my life, have done the right thing, i.e., running towards love. Thank you so much!
