- This is one of my mixes from a few years back. I realized I hadn't posted it on my channel. "Through The Rain" was Mariah's first single off of her 2002 "Charmbracelet" project. It's an inspiring, heartwarming, straightforward big ballad that really showcases Mariah's vocal abilities and writing skills. There's a lot of dance remixes for this song, but none of them use the original chords, so I wanted to create an uptempo production that stayed more true to the original. It's a bitt bass-heavy, but I did my best to clean it up by doing a remaster. Robot-riah even comes out after the first chorus!

When I was a teenager in 2002-2003, I wrote Mariah a letter telling her how Through The Rain had helped me. She responded to me on her official website. Said she was so happy to hear the song meant something to me and the song is very close to her heart as well. Told me to keep believing in the song's message and not give up even when times are at their toughest. In April 2004, I got a personalized signed photo in the mail.

@@TMCremixes Thanks! Her relative unpopularity at that time probably worked in my favor. She was "earthy" during the CB era. But is still my favorite singer since '95.
