I don't know if they still do, but when I saw Shinedown live a few years back, they had a bully story playing in the background for Amanda Todd who took her own life due to constant bullying. I'm not sure if that was a direct inspiration, but they definitely take bullying seriously.

I have nystagmus (eyes move back and forth uncontrollably) was bullied all through 3rd grade and up. Yes it does leave scars but at my 10 year high school reunion most of them apologized to me saying they were going through stuff at home and took it out on me.
I once saw a video of the filmmaker for this video....He regrets that he didn't show the faces of the guitarists in this video....
Be kind until it's time to be violent. I have 2 young daughters. I tell them to go by 3 steps if someone is bothering them. 1-ask them to stop 2- tell someone you asked them to stop 3- make them stop and if more than one or that much bigger I will be there.

I was bullied in high school by this guy who liked to show off in front of his two buddies and girls he thought he was impressing. He would always start out with "Hey someone told me you were going to whoop my arse!" Well, I'll take and butt whooping where it is due but not just because someone wants to look big. This went on a while and something finally broke in me. One day when he was coming towards me I remembered a board loose on the bench I was sitting on. I ripped it up and laid him out with it. Scared me because I thought I'd killed him. It did put him in the hospital. I almost went to reform school over it but I never had trouble with anyone ever trying to bully me again. Not to encourage violence, but sometimes we just reach an end.
