You're a 12 year old woman and go through this tramatic event and it follows you your entire life. They left her name out for a reason. Give her a second chance at life. She dropped her baby down a four story trash chute. Baby survived. They both got thrown into CPS. Cousin was found on rooftop attempting suicide, got talked down and put in jail. From there, Idk.. Maybe they still living, maybe died sometime after. Song is BASED on a true story. Doesn't mean all the facts are lined up for you.

The point of the story is that people expect the person family to deal with the problem while the whole community just turns a blind eye, we as a community/country need to start helping those in need that way they don’t end up like Brenda. Take time out of your way to help someone, something is always better than nothing.

While on the set of his first movie "Juice", 2 Pac came across an article in New York times about this story he's telling in the song...over the course of time he was very disturbed of how less coverage the story was getting and felt it didn't recieve the necessary exposure it deserved...so he made a song about if...The girl at the end in the picture is the real Brenda...2 Pac was 21yrs old when he wrote this song. He also did a lot of poetry while at school that's how he transitioned his writtings to music...His career kicked off in 1991 and by 96 when he died, he had done 5 movies, 5 studio albums, 7 Posthumous albums plus 700 + songs...he had multiple interviews which are available on CZcams and you should bare in mind that he was incarcerated for 8months in 1995...all his albums went Platinum and he has now sold over 100 million records...2 Pac's story never ends.
