Grout fill the block weld the head only use water in the cylinder head use a copper gasket and fire ring and a 625 head stud

Hey man, thanks for watching and thanks for the info. The block is a full fill with SS O-rings and 1/2 L19 head studs. I just got a head welded up and is currently at the machine shop getting decked. I have been battling a couple different issues that has been causing the head gaskets to pop. Once I get the new head back on we should be good to put down 4 digits and click off some 8 second passes!

I have always liked the 1st and 2nd gen Eclipse/Lasers... Had an 87 Conquest Tsi back in the day, still regret selling it. lol.. Anyways, good luck on your build. Hope you can get you sealing problems figured out...

Hey man thanks for posting the struggle lol, it’s always something. How old are your head studs? I’m assuming their L19’s? I’ve watched all of Jake Montgomery’s videos as well and I remember his head sealing issue ended up being some worn out studs he’d been re using forever. Anyways at least you fixed the boost control issue and the cars making some jam! Good luck man I always look forward to new content🍻

Not sure on the exact age of the studs since they came with the car. But I have spoke with Jake and he told me it's the stud nuts that stretch over time. So I picked up new ones. Thanks for watching as always!
