K18 is out of this world! I was able to bleach my permed/highlighted/permanently colored/ damaged hair to platinum blonde in one session and my hair felt like virgin hair! I’m not even kidding when I say that, I have super fine hair too and when I would just bleach my healthy hair to blonde without k18 before my hair would feel super brittle and would even snap off. (And I used to use OLAPLEX all the time) But not with this product!! It’s so worth it cause it’s permanent! My mind is still completely blown away by those results! Short note - before all hair treatments you should use special deep shampoo that cleans all products of your hair. For example Kevin Murphy MaxiWash, or someting like that.

If your hair feels dry after k18 then it was a moisture issue and not a protein issue. I’m a cosmetologist and I am working my way through my own damaged hair and the learning curve sucks. If hair gets dryer or breaks off more after k18, immediately stop use and instead get extremely moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, masks, leave ins, and even throw some olive or coconut oil on there every now and then. Moisture and protein are two separate things and sometimes can even be needed at the same time. If you have hair like mine you need to switch off from moisturizing products to maybe every other week or every two weeks being protein heavy products like k18 or the redkin bond repair line.
K18 makes my hair feel gross. It doesn’t feel soft, hydrated, shiny or anything good. So I leave it on for the 4 minutes, then I mask or condition. I’ve been using it for a long time and honestly I can’t notice an improvement in the health of my hair. I know it’s not technically a protein treatment but I thought your comment was interesting because. I had a scientific hair analysis done and one of the things I learned was that my hair needs moisture, not protein. I don’t think I’m gonna keep wasting my money on K18. I think I’ve given it a fair shot.

To become your split ends BFF every time you wash work Argan oil your ends and use a heat protectant before you style. Use products that lock in hydration from your shamp. / cond. your leave in and hair mask.
Have you tried oplex yet? Would like to know how you feel after using the oplex shampoo w/conditioner & the number 3. It is like butter. The redkin 25 spray leave in you spray before brushing so your not breaking your hair brushing it wet. Yourr hair not bleached messed up. So you don't need to much.
Do I have to use heat (blow dryer)? A friend told me heat activates the k18, but I actually don’t use heat at all on my hair and always leave it to air dry. I’ve bought the k18 but want to make sure I use it properly. Will just letting it air dry after using still make sure it works properly?
The product says style as usual so wether that means blowdrying or letting it airdry that’s completely up to you! I don’t believe this is a heat activated product. I have clients who let their hair dry naturally and it’s worked for them!
I just ordered k18. I am a 25 year old male. Through out my teenage years I would use gel to style my hair every single day. Little did I know it damaged my hair. You guys how is this compared to olaplex 1 and 2 standalone? I’m on a platinum journey and currently have a mix of pastel blue and some darker blue at the top where I had black dyed hair. It’s been over a month since I started the process and my hair was doing ok but it’s starting to have severe breakage and I’m very nervous to have it all come off 😫😫😫 I need a fixxxx and olaplex in my opinion is washed out every shampoo day
Olaplex and k18 are pretty different! If you haven’t been noticing any positive change with Olaplex i definitely recommend giving k18 a try. It’s supposed to rebuild your hair after it’s already been damaged which from what you’ve explained is what i think you need! If you go to the website you can read all about it. I personally tried olaplex and it. didn’t do much for me but k18 did!

I would make sure you follow the instructions carefully and not use too much product. Every time that I have I've noticed my hair feels stiff from product buildup. I use pureology hydrate shampoo and conditioner. But when you do the treatment It's only shampoo and then treatment.

I can’t even brush my hair to make a section if I don’t use conditioner 🤦🏾♀️ it still dry doesn’t feel smoother or anything but maybe if i have to use my k18 each time 🤞
My hair is FRIED, I mean... I've been lvl 13 platinum blonde for 6 years (im a natural 6 light brunette). I'm on my 3rd use of K18, it was really cheap for me, 30 euros for the 100 ml, but I got issues since the begining. My hair is dry because of the bleach, and the K18 only makes it drier, I have to use a conditioner and a mask (I use professional hairstyle ones, my hairstyle chooses them for me), when ussually I only use condicioner and mask 1 a week. Not only that, I have started seeing breakeage in the top of my hair, and that escares me, because its on the roots... I dont put heat on my hair because I know how damage it is because of the bleach, and it seems that I am the only one experiencing this... so I really dont know what to do...

Really not that expensive if u break it down tho u said about 6 pumps u used that means u will get about 8 treatment out of it which makes it only $9 a treatment and alot of places do afterpay so u can spread the price out
I've noticed better and quicker results with k18! Both products are meant for rebuilding and restructuring the hair, not necessarily preventing fall out and promoting hair growth.
Neither of these products treat hair fall, which has many causes (unless it is breakage due to weak hair), or hair growth. They are bond builders. Obviously, with the hair bonds fixed, the hair will look better, but this has nothing to do with hair fall/growth.
I only wash once or twice a week. What I meant was that my job at the beauty salon requires me to have my hair done at all times so I have to make sure if its straight that it stays straight and if its curled that its curled really well! My hair is naturally curly so when I wake up I have to do touchups every morning.
according to all the information I found on the product you can do it right away! However I would just wait until you've used it for the first 4 consecutive washes.

You can use leave in conditioner after 4 mins I use a spray in one my hair is really soft without conditioner after using k18 my hair is definitely softer and my curls really are curler I have thin bleached wavy hair
I get it wholesale and yes the mist is only for before chemical processes like bleaching colouring chemical straightening etc the mask is the one u use as normal
Hello all, i see a lots of video's about K18, i have very long thin damage'd hair, so i thought i buy a small bottel k18, because i am sceptic, and its very expensive, today for the first time i wash my hair with a healthy shampoo, yes i can wait 4 minutes, i wait, then i did moisturizing leave in my hair, normaly i let it dry to the air, but i thought ok i blow it dry, and I was shocked, omg it looks so dry, so dont believe this product that you can see it within 4 min, i make the bottle empty, and i will see after 4 more washes what happen. but i think all that beauty hair you see, it's all styled
Hello! from reading this there may be a chance that you used too much product. You don't need a lot of this product for it to work and using too much of it may cause your hair to feel rough from the buildup because it has happened to me. I would wash your hair normally for a while and attempt to use it again in the future but using much less product. Hope this helps!
You can’t CONDITION your hair before K18 application… That is a NO NO. Like you mentioned on the beginning of your video that was your natural hair shampooed and conditioned…
In the beginning of the video I mentioned that my hair was just shampooed and conditioned because I wanted to show the viewers what it looked like BEFORE the treatment.
K18 didn't work on dry damage hair at all. This product dries them up and they became frizzy after the recommended 6 uses. After I use Phyto Paris products (a lot less expensive that K18 for a lot more product), my hair became shiny. I'm sure glad I bought K18 at Sephora as I got my money back. Thanks Sephora for my 100.$. This product is not cheap mind you. Over-enthusiastic followers hyped it up but it doesn't deserve it in my very humble opinion.

My hair are completely destroyed from bleach, they are so so short because they fell off they broke and they are really very short now, without having them cut, the bleach has broken them. I don't know if this product will be good for me, but I can tell you that your hair is not damaged, there is much worse.

Try using shampoo and conditioner that focuses on moisture and incorporating a hair mask once a week!
You need to rub the product in your hands firs to kind of emulsify it. The it spread better and you use less pumps.

My hair is very hard to detangle too without any conditioner or product but the k18 acted as both and it made the process so easy!

Both products are meant for rebuilding and restructuring the hair, not necessarily preventing fall out and promoting hair growth.
Neither of these products treat hair fall, which has many causes (unless it is breakage due to weak hair), or hair growth. They are bond builders. Obviously, with the hair bonds fixed, the hair will look better, but this has nothing to do with hair fall/growth.

What I meant was that my job at the beauty salon requires me to have my hair done at all times so I have to make sure if its straight that it stays straight and if its curled that its curled really well!

i bleach my hair heavily and i used the entire bottle of k18 (not at once of course) and it never worked for me. i don't get it.

You can use leave in conditioner after 4 mins I use a spray in one my hair is really soft without conditioner after using k18 my hair is definitely softer and my curls really are curler I have thin bleached wavy hair

Hello all, i see a lots of video's about K18, i have very long thin damage'd hair, so i thought i buy a small bottel k18, because i am sceptic, and its very expensive, today for the first time i wash my hair with a healthy shampoo, yes i can wait 4 minutes, i wait, then i did moisturizing leave in my hair, normaly i let it dry to the air, but i thought ok i blow it dry, and I was shocked, omg it looks so dry, so dont believe this product that you can see it within 4 min, i make the bottle empty, and i will see after 4 more washes what happen. but i think all that beauty hair you see, it's all styled
Hello! from reading this there may be a chance that you used too much product. You don't need a lot of this product for it to work and using too much of it may cause your hair to feel rough from the buildup because it has happened to me. I would wash your hair normally for a while and attempt to use it again in the future but using much less product. Hope this helps!

I had a similar reaction the second time i used it and it ended up being because i used way too much! A little bit goes a long way with k18

You can’t CONDITION your hair before K18 application… That is a NO NO. Like you mentioned on the beginning of your video that was your natural hair shampooed and conditioned…
My hair was JUST shampoo’d before the treatment. I washed my hair midvideo with just shampoo.
In the beginning of the video I mentioned that my hair was just shampooed and conditioned because I wanted to show the viewers what it looked like BEFORE the treatment.

K18 didn't work on dry damage hair at all. This product dries them up and they became frizzy after the recommended 6 uses. After I use Phyto Paris products (a lot less expensive that K18 for a lot more product), my hair became shiny. I'm sure glad I bought K18 at Sephora as I got my money back. Thanks Sephora for my 100.$. This product is not cheap mind you. Over-enthusiastic followers hyped it up but it doesn't deserve it in my very humble opinion.

My hair are completely destroyed from bleach, they are so so short because they fell off they broke and they are really very short now, without having them cut, the bleach has broken them. I don't know if this product will be good for me, but I can tell you that your hair is not damaged, there is much worse.
