Hey Torista, I was away from the game for a long while, but was tempted to come shop for that crystal gem lightsaber hilt. However, I've never been to Ossus, even though I am level 70. Upon arrival I was totally lost, there wasn't much besides a basic arrival platform. I went exploring around by speeder bike, but couldn't find ANY sign of a vendor with the lightsaber mentioned. Can you steer me in the right direction? What do I have to do to get this saber?
One of the more important things to a Lightsaber for me in, the Noise it makes.

@@lfoanims5597 It's something that is needed when purchasing from the Cartel Market or GTN when you check how it looks on your character, is the noise the Activation and Hum make.
Discovered this game a month ago and play whenever I can after work, so I have something more to look forward to, even if I’m still a noob lol.

My personnal favourite lightsaber is the one we build on Tython. It is the most simple and from my point of view the most elegant one.

In the clone wars arc with the jedi younglings, there is this one wookie youngling and when it comes to them all building their lightsaber, he get a really pretty wooden-hilted lightsaber. This is my absolute favourite lightsaber design in all of star was. I really wish there was in the game in some form.

Thexans lightsaber is one of my favourites designs overall in Star Wars alongside with the lightsaber design of the Jedi Knights Master (story mode) lightsaber hilt which can be found under several names in game.
But I think when we talk about SWTOR lightsabers Sateles hilt is the first one that comes to anyone's mind for it iconic simple yet elegant design
It's another of the Cartel market sabers, but the Tulak Hord lightsaber is really quite nice as well. With the overlapping leather-wrapped hilt almost looking like scales, I find this one to be right up there on the list.

Satele Shan's sparring lightsaber is my favorite. The etchings on the hilt are beautiful!

Saberforge has Satele's lightsaber. You can even get it in several different shades and also special finishes such as acid etching. You should check Saberforge out. I custom made my lightsaber through them.
Honestly the one from the kotfe expansion that you make with satele shan and Darth Marr has a similar design

I bought the Satele Shan's Sparring Lightsaber for my Consular, because the design on the hilt mimics the design in her gear.
I also love the minimalist style of it, and the sound it makes when activated.

I'm still waiting for the white hilt lightsaber that we see in the Knights of the Fallen Empire cinematic at 2 min 47 when they unravel the republic flag. can't believe they haven't added that saber in the game

Same. Its one of my favorites in the game. You can even go back and get it by replaying the chapter (12) if you missed it by skipping ahead to Onslaught.

Thexans Lightsaber is my all time favourite, I remember starting playing swtor mostly because I was so intrigued by the yellow lightsabers of the eternal bothers and I instantly bought that lightsaber for my first ever Character

A Senya Tirall lightsaber paired with a holographic tuning is one of the wonders of the galaxy.

Thanks for another great video Swtorista. I love the Revanite Lightsabers, both Mk 1 and Mk 2. Beautifully ornate handle designs. Often fairly cheap on the GTN. And they have the added benefit of the original 'snap-hiss' sound when activated :-)
I wish Darth Nihilus's lightsaber is in the game. Most beautiful and elegant one ever.
That ahto city theme from manaan in kotor brings back memories, i so love that theme.

There’s a curved hilt in the game, I just can’t remember the name, but the crystal is exposed on the bottom

i loved those with the wood in them and of course your favorite was one of my favorites as well. you should do a video on more sith style sabers like lana beniko’s saber and those like it. Kallig’s lightsaber is also cool too

The HK-55 query: wouldn’t blasters be an ineffective means of dealing with Jedi meat bags? Suggestion: a combination of poison gas, explosive mines, and orbital bombardment would be a more effective means of dealing with these meatbags.
Response: you make a good point, but sniping the Jedi’s lightsaber hilt and then using ion charges seems to be quite effective has well
The HK-55 counter: Jedi reflex make aiming most weaponry at the hilt to disarm them a very irritating task, therefore weapons that should be used are ones that bypass the protection of their lightsaber. Hypothesis: Jedi meatbags will likely die if you bypass their lightsaber.
I remember seeing the crystal hilt being on an NPC in the warriors story and wanting it for forever but never knew where to get it and was afraid it was retired so im so glad its easy to get on Ossus!
Your #6 pick, reminds me of the 1600-1700 Eras Dueling Swords, Sabers, and Foils. It's my #2 pick for Light Sabers on my characters.
I love all of those sabers. Like you, my favorite Saber is that crystal Saber. There was one that used to drop from command crates. It's called the Champion lightsaber. My main toon Jedi Sentinel uses a pair of them. Satale's is also a gorgeous saber.
Midlithe my favourite, strikes a good balance between looks and practicality, especially if you imagine those hand guards are made from a lightsaber resilient material.
The Antique Socorro Light saber Besh is my fav. Perfect for my "last of the temple guard" character
I think my favorites would have to be #1 Grey Helix, #2 Satele Shan's, #3 Senya Tirall. Great video Swtorista.

I like the Energized Conqueror's Lightsaber. It's effect changes with the color crystal.
My favorite Swtor Lightsaber that I still use on my main game alt in the game ( a Jedi Guardian), which I got back in version 1.3 on a hard level run of FP The Battle of Ilum, is called Qel-Droma Ancestral Blade and it is a rare no long attainable Lightsaber, in the game. so quite proud of that when some new player has asked me many times on where to get the hit. I even ask Bio Where when Tuning, came out to add it to the list of lightsabers that can be Tuning because on the day Tuning was add, this blade at the time could not be fitted with Tuning. And the day after I e-mail Bio Where about it, the Lightsaber gained a Tuning slot. And I do like the Lightsaber, with a lighting Tuning attachment effect added to it.

Revan’s Lightsaber is my favorite
My favorite is the Outlander's Satele Shan/Darth Marr double bladed staff saber which is built in KOTFE chapter 12. The blend of her sabers body and the menacing Sith 4 blades emitter area are beautiful.
I have only earned the blaster for that so far, I'll have to check out the lightsaber!
Thank you for this video! Been looking at the Jedi Battlelord's to get the beautiful crystal lightsaber but really not interested in PVP... Now I know I can get a stop gap Artusian then go to Ossan for the War Leader's.
this stuff alone makes me keep playing the game lol, this, the crystals, etc. its just super cool to be a jedi in this game, or a sith.

For me, its not only the design, the sound plays a big role wich lightsaber i choose ;)
Any chance you have/can highlight lightsabers (like Arn's) without a big glow/carona? I've seen a bunch in game, but don't know how common they are.

when it comes to scroll work and so forth you forgot one that's actually totally free (if you've subbed since KoTFE at least) the Attuned Bulwark/Force Healer/Pummeler/Force Lord's. It has a scroll work very similar to the Satele Shan saber but it's kind of a copper color. Also did I mention it's free since you get it as part of the story line for your fight versus Arcann? (the double saber version is better looking but that's almost true of every saber XD)

Sith Inquisitior
I'm a big fan of the Sith Warrior story and the Smuggler. Ended up playing through the SW recently and loved it a lot, turned into one of my mains. The smuggler because I picked it up during a double XP event a while ago when I was feeling super sick and it helped me through it a lot! Gotta love the VAs for both, too. Agent was the first story I played and I only have a fuzzy memory of it, probably gonna replay that next. What about you?

Definitely have to go with the Sith Warrior storyline. That one really has a way of making you feel like an unstoppable badass.

The battle lord lightsaber is my favorite one. Because it has the best sound and is the most beautiful. I am sad though they don't allow tuning for it though.

For up until the twelve in kotfe I have to go with the fatewalker lightsaber. Mainly cause its elegant and for those who have held it. Ven zallow and cao cen darach.
All time favorite lightsaber has to be the attuned lightsaber you get at chapter 12 of kotfe. Its has copper look with the markings like satele shans but also the emitter of the sith lightsaber. It is the epitome of elegance imho.
Edit: Forgot to mention the Jedi Battlelord Lightsaber because of just better level of uniqueness it at least til you get the Attuned Lightsaber.

Most elegant for me is Tulak Hord's saber, but Thexan's is a close second.
The best looking lightsaber has to be Hord's lightsaber. The hilt is well designed and the blade looks great with every colour.

Maybe you can use your influence to get someone to fix the way lightsabers are gripped as most of them are not gripped in the actual grip section of the saber.

Even before I started playing SWTOR, from checking your older videos beforehand, all I ever wanted was the Dark Honor Guard's Unstable Saber with the Executioner's Tuning, but that stuff registers hundreds of millions of credits each on my server. After 2 months of playing, with Heroics and what not, best I ever did was 40m credits, and I had to spend all of that on Augmented Set gear. The ultimate Star Wars fashion dream is dead.

Don't forget the player crafted "Attuned" saber/class weapons are also as beautiful as Master Satele Shan's.
Been playing the game since 2012. Have purchased just about every saber in the game. All the hilts are nicely done. Unfortunately a huge problem for me is the sound most make. Nothing is worse than buying a cool hilt then popping it for the first time. Sound is everything because you hear the sound more than you see the hilt. That is why so many of the hilts in this video can be found for next to nothing on the GTN. Give us the ability to change the sound and you've got a game changer.
Though lord, they're still pretty thick like GE vs Legacy from the big D itself.
I think it would be better if the hilts of the swords were made a little smaller.
@swtorista if you like satele shan saber how could you not mention Odessen Visions in the Dark chapter saber? looks far better than any cartel market satele shan + has actually good sound unlike those cartel versions.

Mindful Guardian is my favorie. Has the best sound/look combo but it's not obtainable since 4.0 :(

Vengeance's Unsealed for me. Silver and black with a slight curve and exposed crystal suspended at the endcap of the hilt.

I'd love to have a cartel variant that changes colour based on the lightsaber crystal, so you can have a red, green or purple blade and a matching crystal on the end of the hilt.

I feel like I've seen one around the game but haven't found a solid way to get it yet.
I've gotten one but it's only a green/blue and the rest of it isn't really much more than a metal tube. aka no detailing on the handle
The lightsaber that Lord Scourge carries has a rancor tooth. When you get him as a companion, you can replace his. It's called the Lordly Lightsaber. I have one on my Jedi Guardian.
