Hi. i'm not vietamiese, but all of my vietnamiese friends said me : vietnamiese people of the south are more open mind than vietnamiese of the north. So it seems more easy to make friends in HCM than in Hanoi. I visited HCM 2 time, and vietnamiese people from HCM are very friendly.

Yes correct! you can used debit/credit card. If your card is local Vietnamese bank, there are rewards or cashback of course, but mainly there's no price diff paying cash or card. you may give a tip, it's up to u but it not that usual in VN.
its still okay to visit Da Nang until May, but in Hanoi there's a slight chance of rain. i do agree with hoàng, it's really hot when it's summer especially here in Ho Chi Minh City.
Well It depends each season has different kind of weather and activities. If you go in May "summer time" the weather could be hot from the North to the south except Da Lat-the weather is really cool and temperature is normally under 23°c . From my point of view, I highly recommend Da Nang or Da lat if you want to visit this month.
Can you do a video on Nha Trang? They got very cheap grilled lobsters on the beaches. Also, they have a theme park on a private island called Vinpearl Land. You should check out a thai vlogger called Backpaeger.
I've been there once, it's a nice place, great for tourism, although i wasn't sure about seafood prices, but thanks for the tip! I bet anything with Vin on it's name is a pricey place... yea i'll check your recos Backpaeger, i'll stalk that channel hehehe

It would be interesting to watch you try the more authentic Vietnamese food then the ones for upper class/expats. U can download the Bus Map app. Usually buses starts as early as 5am
