  • In this video, we will demonstrate how to use the Health Metric Drinking Water Test Kit to test for various contaminants and important drinking water parameters. These include: lead, copper, bacteria, nitrate, nitrite, pH, alkalinity, hardness, and chlorine.
The Health Metric Drinking Water Test Kit provides a simple, accurate and low-cost way to screen your water for the presence of potentially harmful contaminants. The test kit is made in the USA in line with official EPA limits, making the results easy to compare and act upon accordingly.
This home water-testing kit is simple enough for anyone to use with zero expertise or equipment. Get your results quickly and easily - whether it’s from a tap, well, municipal, or spring. Just follow the included step-by-step instructions.
Testing separately for every element at a laboratory would cost stupid amounts of money. This kit makes it possible to find out what’s in your water without breaking the bank.

I either lost or did not receive the comparison page so I don't know what my tests mean. The video really isn't that helpful. How can I get the page so I can compare my water to the page?

doesn't the water company test tap water before delivering it to our houses? So we should not trust them and now have to test ourselves? Scary isn't it!

I also thoughts it was scary but when I learnt the benefits I think its 1000% worth it because drink water everyday thanks to my wife who is certified by IIN, New York.

The water coming from your public water supply might be perfectly ok to drink. However in each individual case for each person, the quality of the water they receive at their tap may be slightly different than the water at the beginning of the distribution chain. For example, if you live in a building or house built before 1986 and that hasn't been completely renovated, there is a high likelihood that your plumbing system is made from lead pipes. Lead particles from the pipes can then seep into your water, which is bad for your health. Newer houses and buildings use either copper pipes, plastic pipes, or galvanized steel pipes which don't pose this risk.

      Some test then treat
      Some test, treat, test
It has to be treated in a way that the water minimally corrodes pipes in transit, but also be drinkable at its furthest point. So if you live close to a water treatment plant, your water could be significantly harder than someone on the extreme ends of the service area.

The 4 in one test is way too confusing. Are you matching all four to the same line? If so, they don’t even match closely.

I think you have to match the first box to the first line as best you can and do them same with the rest of the boxes going down. So the second box to the second line, and so on. Pen and paper to write each metric down will help.

no you are just kinda dumb. it's easy to do. you should check for the most common cause of stupidity which is lead, black mold, sugars, little to no exercise, malnourished, processed foods, drugs, and 8 hours of sleep.
could be that you were just tired when you made the admission to your stupidity but you CAN fix stupid. just takes a while
