It was very smart to keep Nick as the coordinator since he knows the system and the players well, while adding Brandon to help scheme and add new elements to our defense. Nick is right that he will help find new things, including things from Brandon, that work with our system and our players. Nick will help make sure that those new elements can be successful.
Brandon Staley did exactly that for the Rams in their Super Bowl win.
