Great trip for this time of year. I loved to see the plane land beside the Cruiseships in Miami. I hope to see you swim with the pigs on an other video. Great plane, but huge. Love to see more of it.

They only thing about this winter here in Chicago is that we have had light snow and still cold air.😄😄 I laugh at videos like this where it is warm there in places like this than in Chicago.😄😄 I am trying to figure out where to retire to.😄😄

Great trip! Staniel Cay is awesome. Pretty solid crosswinds (reported at 30kts) on that runway when I was there a few years ago. Looks like that is what happened to the busted airplane on the ramp🌴🌴

Flew in the right seat on a Cessna Caravan twice now. Once in and out of The Grand Canyon Airport and the other on The Loch Lomond Seaplane. That was amazing, best experience ever

You had all the fun and then were lucky you could split before you had to fresh water wash the Caravan to remove all the salt water from floats, gear, and aircraft skin to prevent it from corroding. 💦

I wish my seaplane could make it all the way to the Bahamas! A Caravan is a dream for me, but your first comment about the insurance requirements... and cost of insurance make me doubt that'll happen
This thing runs about 40k annually for insurance

why does the size of the plane determine whether it is allowed to fly with only one pilot vs. two? Usually, exeptions of rules happen when risks can be mitigated in another way. Now, smaller planes must be far more dangerous? Help me understand thanks :D

Not at all!
For me, this was way too much to do with activities and experiences outside aviation. While that is totally cool, it's like a lifestyle thing, I just wish it was more of a vlog style format. Specifically talking more about the plane, more about acquiring it, more from your buddy who was flying it, etc. Don't get me wrong, Love the content, here and on insta., but this was a rare miss. Much love.

Although I am seaplane current in our current seaplane I am not currently current on our insurance. They must know I have built time up and am current on the current, in, our current seaplane.
Something like that. Our insurance requires 12 sim recurrent training which I am not current on
