Our coach selected older players like Hazard, Mertens, Vertonghen and Witsel based on their history, not on their recent performances. Then he had one chance that was clearly unexpected. It was a bad reaction of goalkeeper. Only big chance was when he hit the post and one chance when he almost scored 1:31
Croatia had 3 or more chances in the game that could have easily been goals and one penalty that was not an offside.
Hard fought game by Croatia against a strong Belgium side. Modric and company had a few nice plays and solid chances to score, but Lukaku had better opportunities in the 2nd half that he missed. His reaction time on the ball appeared to be slower than usual resulting in missed opportunities. Well done by Croatia to hold the fort down and move to next round.
