I've now made three of these (adding cute lining in them now) as gifts! Thank you for this tutorial! This is the first macrame anything I've ever made, and after the first one, it got a lot easier. Will be trying other things in the future.

I just made this with 3mm braided rope & I love the design but I did have 2 feet of rope left over! Next one I’ll do more than 36 rows cause it’s way smaller than I thought. Cute little market bag, thanks for the design!❤

Sorry, i know you use 3mm for this bag, i only have 4mm, I’m terrible at figuring out how much more cord i would need. Could you give me a rough figure/ approximate?

Hi, I'm Gary. You have a very good way of teaching. I like the way you explain what you're doing. Not everyone could be a good macrame teacher. As good as you. I learned a lot and I thank you. I am working on two projects now. One is a macrame chair and the other one is a lion wine. But you really truly are a good teacher. You have a beautiful way of getting the point across that one could catch on very easily. You're gifted not just in what you do about how you teach what you know yours, true. 👉 Gary 👈

Do you have a suggestion on where to purchase the keychain clasps? I prefer made in USA. Thanks for the video and your teaching style. I already made one of your other bags. I’m hooked! 😅

OMG!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! I just made a crochet one for my grand-daughter (it was a sampler!!) but I love this one for myself....exactly as you said for times when I walk to the corner store. Just wondering if using the same size cord how big is the purse (approx). I live in an area where they no longer give you a bag for your purchases so I carry a soft fabric one in my pocket (mostly in winter) but was wondering if it would fit a soft fabric bag too since I usually don't have any pockets in summer attire!!! Thanks for the inspiration....I even have the perfect cord for it !!!

I'm so glad you like the pattern! The size is approx 5 3/4" across and 6 1/2" tall, and the strap is about 43" long once it's complete. I can't believe I forgot to add that to the description but I'm updating it now! Let me know how it turns out :)

Wow! I love this. I was thinking of making one of these and now I know which one. Do you have the measurements for the finished bag? Just wondering how it will work with my phone.
    Thanks for posting!

I have an iPhone 11 and my husband has an old Samsung Galaxy and they both fit great in this bag with a little room to spare on the sides. Thanks for stopping by!
