@@TUXXREVIEWS Disappointed there isn’t one video I’ve found on this system that scrolls through entire game list, so we can know what games we are getting before making the purchase. I can’t even find a list online.
I bought this purely for the games Scramble and Gyruss which I thrashed in the arcades when I was a kid and found there are heaps of other classics I remember well. Well worth the money.
You think the lag could be the controls or just the hardware in general? Really contemplating purchasing one, but I am mainly looking for one for the fighting games.
My frustration is the audio and lots of mame games not working. Audio for mortal kombat games is awful. Is their ways to fix this for optimal audio and video. What are your settings everyone? Is there a way to get primal rage and killer instinct on here as well? Thanks
Many people are saying they got this console for around $40-$50 dollars but I'm seeing priced at around $90 at the moment. I wish I would've known about this console earlier when it was much cheaper lol. I can't seem to find it anywhere for under $90.
I have found some duplicates and some games written in Spanish or Japanese. For example, I’ve found Doom and Doom II on several different systems. Not a deal breaker.
You can reset the defaults. It came with 2 controllers so whether you need to use the other one or not, I don’t know. But the system can be reset to the factory settings. Just be very cautious about doing that because when you get the system new, it's not at the factory defaults. It arrives to you already tweaked and setup. When you do a factory reset, you will lose the setup the system has. Some game consoles will become invisible, and some previously "hidden" system folders will become available in the game play screen. Playing around with those can crash the system. So if you do it, be cautious and make sure you make those system folders hidden again so they aren't sitting in the open for someone to click around and crash things.
I just dont understand from all the reviews. How is it with the PS1 (or even PSP) games. Is the Need for Speed (my nostalgia) playable or lags as crazy ? And like Mario Kart N64 ? Any way thanks for review, ordered it any way.
I may need to make a follow up video on this. While I dont recall anything special with N64 performance. In the case of Playstation 1 it plays and is enjoyuable but not as smooth (little choppy) compared to the real thing. Also one complaint I have is why do these not have ridge racer 1, they all seem to like the later ones like Ridge racer revalution etc. why!!!
