- I'm in Utah, and that means visiting James @TheStradman! Welcome to his new Dream House and garage for a tour of the car collection before running into trouble with two of them... It never goes exactly to plan does it?!
Having driven my AMG GT Black Series all the way from Austin, Texas after the track day at COTA, about 1,300 miles later we have arrived at James' new Dream House which has been 3 years in the making and very recently completed. While there's still lots to do, let's check out the garage and all the new additions to his car collection since I last visited, including the likes of the Ferrari 812, Lambo Murcielago 40th Anniversary, Bug Killer GT-R, Espada and over to the warehouse as well.
It turns out things are not all plain sailing, as the Espada is nearly 50 years old and doesn't particularly fancy getting started up. Then at the warehouse we're bringing the mkIV Supra back to the house and, well, battery issues...
Every trip to Utah is always fun, and no exception here too! Thanks to James for his time and hospitality, and a huge congratulations to him for what he's achieved: / thestradman

I dont mind watching hyped up James but relaxed, chill James is much more enjoyable to watch. He seems to be much more relaxed when he's not the one filming.
Same, but I think he acts overly happy and snappy in his videos because it's very good for the attention span, it also helps your mood too, if he's very positive it will also spread to the viewer. He might just be very loud specifically on video subconsciously, but I never know
It's crazy to see how tame Strad is in other people's videos compared to the energy he has in his own videos.

It’s funny because around his friends and family, that’s who he really is. In front of the camera, he brings out that energetic persona he worked on to build his confidence when he obviously started CZcams. I love both sides of him.

I much prefer James when he's calm and not swinging the camera around, but what he's achieved in the few years he's been doing CZcams is amazing and he deserves everything he's got and more

Totally agree. Hopefully he will come back once the house is “finished” which may be who knows how long. I doubt it will truly ever be finished but at least the garages all fully built with the floors and brick and such added.
I respect any man that can buy an Espada and appreciate like it deserves. The thing I like most is the looks.

How you find time to do everything you do and watch other people’s videos is just amazing!
Perfect example when the Espada was not turning on Strad staying calm and never give up never doubt just like under his career in the begining even if he didn't see success elements he always believed himself and what he is doing in his passion. Absolutely stunning both legends. All my respect both of You what You achieved You guys and really your channels not only about cars but how to pursuit dreams and passion. Made my day this video! Stradman is a blessed man.. I love the fact that he has fun with everything. The Espada reminds me of the cars from the 70s. They all did that having to warm up before they started. My Dad's Cadillacs from those years did the the same thing. Yeah he would be a person I would love to visit and a great friend.

This is where it all started for me. I 1st watched Tim 9 years ago and then I came across James who I thought was the equivalent of an American Shmee150 lol. Just think after all these years both of you have massively upgraded your cars, and I have massively upgraded my phone!!!🤣 I love it.

Tim, an idea for an end of year wrap up - a compilation of clips from throughout the year where you talk about things such as the best sounding car of the year that you’ve driven, the fastest etc etc and see what ‘wins’

I figured he would keep that car non turbocharged just as a memory of how it all started but I guess twin turbo is still sick it’s just crazy it’s taken so long to get it done. I feel like sheepy or UGR could have knocked it out faster but what do I know.

How crazy is it that an old Espada has made it way over 100K miles. Just everything about it is so great. The pink on navy blue/white spec, the windshield washer that doesn't even reach the wipers, the ash in the ash tray lmao. It's all just perfect. I'm so happy you took out the Espada in particular.

Crazy!! I am almost 50 and growing up in the 80s in southern US you never saw exotics driving around. If you saw a 911, 928, Delorean or Corvette you would remember it. Maybe see a Ferrari once a year. Amazing how many new super/hyper cars are built today, it’s the Golden Age !! In my time it was Lamborghini Countach, F40 and 959. Now multi brands introducing new models every year and young You Tubers with many of them. Crazy times 😂
