The only thing I can say that was better was Paul McCartney at Dodger Stadium & having a surprise visit by Ringo Starr!!! Some of the perks living in a major city... and going to the best concerts!

I was there at Elton’s last concert. It was truly a magical experience. I was an 11yr old when I saw it, the moment at the end when the fire works went off after the song Saturday, I turned to my father, which somehow was able to get us tickets in the last 3 hours, and then said “Thank You SO much for this”. A moment I will never forget in my life
Hats off to both of them. They both also clearly enjoyed it, which is great to see! I also liked the little hickup where I think Elton thought Dua was going to sing the second verse momentarily but then realized it's his turn again, but he didn't get irritated by that and nailed it.
He did have a hickup... but I would rather see small errors than lipsynching that so many of them do today... I was lucky to have been there... it was a Sunday night, but I would rather have seen the LAST show on a Sunday than the 2nd to last show on the Saturday...

There are moments where Elton John is not hitting pitch at the start and you think 'man..this isn't going to go well' but then he hits his stride and you remember why he's so revered and legendary.
I loved finally seeing him last year but watching something like this shows that if he comes back to performing at all it won't be anything big. Supposedly if he did anything it would just be playing deep cuts in London. Some acts don't fully retire, but I'm not sure if Elton really would ever come back to play in LA, NY or Vegas again. And I don't think he should. I think he's saying goodbye at the right moment. He's shown that he still has some gas left, but he's also reminding us why retiring from anything big is the right decision.
