  • 💊 This week we are shining a light on CF treatment 💊
People with CF have a whole lot of ‘extras’ in each day to manage their symptoms; physio, nebulisers, IVs, creon, other medication, sinus rinses, the list goes on.
This doesn’t just start when you’re an adult, it starts from the very beginning.
    Meet Natalie 💙
Take a look at what a day-in-the-life as a nearly 2 year old living with CF is like. The way she takes each activity in her stride is pretty inspiring.
“As we head into our toddler years, we are facing all the usual toddler behaviours (cue learning about assertiveness). Add to that the demands of treatments to help keep her lungs and digestive system in tip top shape. Some days (ok most days) treatment in itself, as well as her toddlerness, makes for some challenging times.
Treatments are the priority and our day is worked around them. This makes it especially hard for the non CF siblings as treatments need to come first.”
Thank you Kareena and Natalia for giving us an insight into what the treatment looks like for a little one with CF 💙

Cystic Fibrosis has a 50% chance of being passed down to your children. So if you have it, or have precursors for it, please PLEASE consider adopting instead. It is not fair to those children involved, they did not ask for this and would not have wanted it.
