How would external speaker output like this work if it is a next gen iPhone with only a lightning connector and no headphone output port. Can I split the cable and have one for in and one for out?
Hi Chris, I wondered if you can help, I am wanting to do some speeches on my phone using a lavalier, (collar mic) I have an android smartphone at the moment and normal I use the built in mic on the phone to speak into, after a bit of research I managed to find out how to work this all.on a wireless bluetooth speaker, similar to the one you showed in your video, the only thing I wish to ask is, if I connected the collar mic into my 3.5mm port will the sound output still be heard into my bluetooth speaker. Hi Chris, thanks for the reply, yes I want to hear my voice through the bluetooth speaker, I have been looking in to it through google, but there are several answers and different ways to do it, i have managed to work that out, so when my phone is paired up via bluetooth with a bluetooth speaker and I use an app from the Google Play Store called bluetooth microphone, everything i say into the phones built in mic I can hear it on my portable speaker. The only thing am asking is If I was to connect an additional microphone into the headphone jack and use that microphone to speak in to instead will.i still be able to hear what I say through the portable speaker. you mean your voice on the speaker? I really dont know - you should google it.
