Join us & Life Wellness Azores on part 2 of our Hawaii of the Atlantic series.
On this video we continue to discover more of what the beautiful island of Sao Jorge has to offer. On this day we tour more of the island by car and by foot, which includes a visit to magical Simao Dias and a dramatic coastal hike between Faja Cubres & Faja Caldeira de Santo Cristo.

Andy I absolutely agree, the waves are so relaxing and mesmerizing. I felt that on Pico and said the same, that I could sit and watch all day.

unbelievable tour or Sao Jorge. I'm becoming the local expert on the Azores just from watching your videos. People talk about Hawaii being so great and I always tell them to check out the Azores.

S. Cristo is one of my favorite surfing spots, that’s great you made it there for the swell. Did you see anyone surfing? You cannot get uncrowded waves in
Hawaii and the people there are not half as friendly as the Azores.
Gorgeous spot! We did see a few people surfing, very cool. Azorean hospitality is Second to none. Take care!
Good job Laura, and Carlos,I am also from the Azores,Terceira Island,living in Canada for the lost sixty years,have a summer house there and spend four months there in the summer were nature rules,in the middle of the North Atlantic,only five houses from Toronto,and Boston,six hours coming back.
This brings back many memories, I did that hike from the top of serra do Topo to Caldeira do S. Cristo and then out to faja dos cumbres, it took us a little over 5 hrs. It's such a beautiful hike . Thanks

Ancestors on my mothers side are from Pice, st Jorge, graciosa and Treciera. I’ve only been on mainland Portugal and would love to come to the Azores

Wonderful seeing the beautiful landscape of Sao Jorge through your eyes. I fell in love with the island during my hike to an abandon lighthouse and exploring the various cheese manufacturers. You refreshed my love for the Azores again. Thank you. Ty Rachel.

I love your videos!! We're finally making it to the Azores (from Sevilla) next week. So thankful to have your videos as a reference. We'll be on Pico Island during Thanksgiving actually. Any places you recommend to have a meal on that day? Hole in the walls are great, and turkey is not required! :-)
