I remember coming home after school in Oregon in 1966-67 and lying on my bed listening to this music by Buck Owen. Loved the pedal steel guitar sound but didn't know its name. My Dad and I were huge fans.
Buck Owen is now my fav. Force by old man neighbor in our small village in Isabela, Philippines.. every afternoon this song was being played religiously .. now I'm thankful that CZcams have it.. can play it anytime while on board ship

IMO Buck had the best golden years late 50s to the 60s. The Buckaroos were just fabulous. Amazing musicians each one. Don Rich of course led the band. Also harmonized with Buck second to none. mos60
Yeah man buck Owens and dangerous don rich wer untouchable in the late 50s and 60s I once read that when buck and George Jones toured together in the early days they use to fight over who was gonna go on first on stage and many times buck and don just blew George away. Buck could really really play guitar well and could really sing and knew how to harmonize well buck will allways be my favorite.. country hero
