My mom says I'm a littel too grown up for dolls now, but honestly now I am into collecting and people who customize dolls (there are some truly amazing artists in the doll repaint community) and she basically looks like a pro ball jointed doll but mass produced and that's pretty impressive. I am not particularly a fan of their style of clothes but my gosh that sculpting is beautiful 💖💖💖

Dolls are for whoever gets a good feeling from them. They make me very nostalgic, and I am also a customizer! The VERY most recent wave actually do have properly joined knees that fold back (like, they can kneel right down) but the arms are still meh.... SOooooo I headswap them to megaposeable made-to-move barbie heads xD The curvy body is pretty good proportions!
.... and then they sit around on my desk, nude but covered by their hair while they wait for me to decide what to art them into xD
and freak out all my visitors who go to my desk xD!!!
They fixed the packaging ease of opening a bit with series 2, at least i noticed that with Bella and river.
I had a bit of a hard time at some points during the process of opening my latest RH purchases. But compared to Fail Fix packaging , the process is less stressful.
@@kalezuki9231 It’s been a while since I bought RH, I’ve been buying a lot of barbie lately, so I believe it was a pain lol. To be fair when I say it “improved” from series one what I really meant was “it’s slightly better than it was” doesn’t really compare to LOL OMG, ease of opening wise.

No good quality doll will be cheap, all of these dolls are from 20 dollars and up, depending on which doll
Clearly a lot of people use barbie as an insult, barbie is expanding in a lot of skin tones, body shapes, hair colours, cultures etc, barbie was made to show everyone that “You can be anything you want to be”, people need to see that, because as a doll collector it gets offensive as barbie was my first inspiration.
I have some and the packaging is great just hard to get out but i guess that’s a good thing so nothing breaks

True but what I love with the LOL dolls packaging is you can use the box as a toy set it’s design to be played with and not just to keep the doll safe.
We also need to keep in mind children will play with them and i don’t think it should be necessary to have sharp tools to open the box
Ikr i got a rh doll yesterday at target (yellow Madison) and i wass trying to open it in the car and my fingers where dead 💀
Yes, it means it's securely packaged. Its necessary for the amount of shipping and shelf stocking boxes go through.

I first watched this when I wasn’t interested in these dolls and now I’m watching it having collected almost all the dolls I can get in the UK. Feels like we have come a long way since series 1
take the tape off the top of the box around the doll area (if you’re looking directly at it that’s the right side) then slide her out of main boxing. she will still be in a plastic shell, slide doll out of plastic ribbons connecting to shell (feet can sometimes be difficult, hands are always removable!) when the doll is out then hook behind the second outfit with a finger and pull the boxes out. very easy
and if you need to get rid of the gel use dish soap then a spritz of fabric softener out of a water bottle. and steamers straighten and curl synthetic hair.

I actually have the 1 whole season of them. So I'm kinda used to opening them, they are easy but hard to. Lol
I bought Heather Grayson and Deliah Fields awhile ago, and didn't know they came with stands because how I took everything out of the box and didn't see the stands so I accidentally threw them away 😭😭 but this video helped me know where they are for my shadow high twins when they come and future dolls. So thank you so much. No more accidentally throwing away stands.
The outfits from rainbow high do best on made to move dolls. The only thing is that the shirts may still be like a crop top
if you wet the hair/put it in a bowl of warm water then the hair should go to the ankles

I have mixed feelings. It is rather stressful at some points to try to get the extra clothes out for example. And I hate that they literally have the doll held hostage ( especially the head ) in the box... But I love the shiny / sparkle / metallic rainbow part.

You don't have to completely open the box- you can just open the dolls area and take out the doll stands from the side and I don't even take out the clothing boxes, I just open the plastic and take out the clothes.

I got one of those for Christmas last year from my mom and dad and it was really hard to open the box
I bought these and I love them and I just wanted to tell you that you can keep the pretty boxes that have the second outfit it takes a bit of effort but you can do it But the rest of the packaging sucks and needs some work

What was annoying is Violet has shoes that have straps around the ankles, not bad right? Wrong they didn't make the straps strong enough causing one out of the 4 shoes to now have a broken strap because the feet and strap were not the same size, the only way I found works is if you use the socks as a in between but if a child got this doll all the shoes would break by the end of the play session.
The same thing happened to me..the strap broke right off. It's as if the foot is too big for the shoe.

I LOVE rainbow high dolls, i only just got two, the only thing I'm not that impressed at is the difference in the waist size compared to the actual body, but it can easily be covered by the clothes.

My first doll was harder to remove everything but once you know what to except, it gets easier

Hello, I only have two RH dolls a second hand Amaya Raine and a brand new River Kendall, I didn't get a stand with Amaya, but like your Ruby, River has a cap and a hole in his head for it to fit snug, but just an FYI its not a crop top or tank, its a bustier or leather bra, my Amaya came with a cream one with rainbow stitching and I like the idea of layering it with other tops! Also if you feel like exploring, I found with a little work River shirt, the one tied around his waist, can be worn as a shirt, but you need a little altering to be done, ;o)

the packaging struggle was kind of a pain, the scariest part was the piece of plastic that goes through the back of her head/hair, i cut it ever so slightly wrong and it got stuck and i had to use pliers to get them out, but because of that she now sadly has a bit of hair pulled out of her ponytail (talking about nicole)
also i was a little dissapointed at how many loose strands there are on the clothing, but honestly it seems many sewn things made nowadays are sold with loose strands lol. also one of the knees looked kinda beat up straight out of the box and bends less well (it seems to not quite fit properly, so the joint and the socket are scraping against eachother. though the other knee has that too, but slightly less. and on the back of the joint there's big pieces of loose plastic which looks kind of weird and concerning), but i couldn't see that before buying because of the socks...
i do like their articulation though, and that they come with extra clothing. and i think the shadow high designs are quite interesting and pretty. the rainbow high ones aren't really my thing though

Girl I just got one today and I got the costume ball violet and it was so easy to open just cut the tape then pull out the cardboard getting the doll out of the plastic is as hard as heck! So I'd give it a solid 9/10 it was 25$ not counting tax in the u.s!
They have made the boxes much better since the first release
