  • I have previously taken Hugo on walk and train sessions and had high level reactivity towards other dogs. But reactivity can often be miss read as aggression. This session gave me the opportunity to bring him closer to new dogs.
The outcome was absolutely amazing I’m very proud of how far we have come with him.
There is still allot more work to do but we now know Hugo can be well mannered socially.

Aww, I loved watching Hugo in these couple videos! I'm surprised more people that watched the first one with him didn't watch this one!🤷🏻‍♀️ It was super helpful to watch the dogs and their body language. I have a female pit/lab puppy and she's a bit of a wild child when she plays and I tend to really hover to make sure she doesn't go too far, so this was nice to see👌❤️

The slip lead you use on Hugo seems different from the ones you usually see in the pet store. I can see that there’s a metal sleeve on the loop which would have less friction and help release the pressure quickly once the lead is loose. Would appreciate if you can share details of the slip lead, I’d would love to get one for my staffy. Thanks.

Amazing!! I’m worried about using the slip lead on my reactive dog because if he lunges hard it could really hurt him. Any tips for using it correctly? At the moment I’m using gentle leader.

It’s a fair concern because like any equipment if used wrong it can hurt a dog. I will be doing a video on using the slip lead very soon. It’s all about technique and timing.
