    Great video.... Thanks for sharing. I appreciate it. Just one little piece of advice, recomendation or maybe something I would like to see but it doesn't have to be important... I would like to see some images of the final design to get an idea of the steps to get to that end. Anyway, it is a great tree and surely will have a great future.... Again thanks for these videos.

      Thank you for your compliment! after a few years of seeing this tree in maybe different movies you will see the outcome and you can learn from the several jobs we have done on the tree and see the "final image" . In my opinion you can learn more from that because every goal that this tree will take every year will be different :D

    Nice. Love it. It’s hard to find trident maples in Bloomington Indiana. So growing from seed is the only option for now

      I was able to find a few trident saplings at Mays Greenhouse this spring! I have 5 planted together as a forest that are all healthy. Right now I think May’s have some starter material atropurpureums if you are looking for maples

      @@JulianPovinelli you live in Btown too? Cool. Ya. Think you bought the 5 saplings I had my eye on last year 😂

      Yeah, glad to discover another bonsai guy in Bloomington! I have some trident cuttings from the forest that have hopefully taken root if you want!

    Hi Yannick, that was really useful and informative, thank you. The tree is an absolute beast! Would you recommend partial defoliation on younger trees under development to shift energy to sacrificial branches or just let everything grow out?

    • @yannickkiggen4639
      @yannickkiggen4639  Před 14 dny

      Hello Alex, everything depends on the goal of your tree. what you want the tree to become. so this is difficult to explain in this matter. First you need to know your goal for this tree.

    Hey Yannick!🤝 Nice Video! Nice tree! 💪💪What do you do about the wiremarks? LG Werner

      @yannickkiggen4639  Před 14 dny

      Thank you! The branches need to get bigger exceptionally and wire marks are fixation of the branch. So i'm not worried about the wiremarks on it. Cause the branch gets bigger because of this and creates bark faster aswel. they are not to massive wiremarks.
