  • You may recall my original review on the Genesis Jack 2 years ago (the Wolverine video). I had a lot of praise for this piece of equipment, however there were some concerns about functionality. In today's video we take a look at the new 2.0 version to see if they were able to make this great deadlift jack even better!

    Thanks Brandon! Didn't know it gets to a point with mini jacks that it gets to heavy!! I usually use 2 mini jacks to make it like a full jack, do you recommend buying 2 or one is enough?

  • @Kparris7
    @Kparris7 Před 4 lety +2

    The only problem I had was rust on the screws and metal barrels. I would recommend spray painting them before assembly.
    I'm my case I just spray painted the whole thing (too lazy to disassemble) after rubbing the rust off.

    Hi Brandon, how do you think is stability and sturdiness of the new plastic foot compared to the 1.0 aluminum Version. May the plastic tend to break easier due to lot of heavy use over time?

    • @BasementBrandon

      shouldn't break! The original for me was mostly sturdy as long as you used it correctly.

  • @kodathetrep7000
    @kodathetrep7000 Před 3 lety

    Please review the Sorinex Dead lift jack. I think it could be the best option out in the market and theres is no reviews or social media photos of it really. The double deadlift jack looks like a good option since it’s a modular build and you can use it as a single, maybe even two singles alone (CZcams titan mini deadlift jack), or possibly even as double dead lift jack without the middle upright pole for smaller storage and with the middle attachment alone to line the two jacks even. In your videos you showed the wedge and the mini rouge dead lift jack being used as a single option. Do you think your reviews would change if you used two at the same time? Or instead of a wedge the OSO safety blocks that’s listed on Rouge’s website? My concern for the kleva option is that I’m using a stainless steel opb and the uhmw in the middle looks no different than the first version which looks like it would wear away fast.

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  Před 3 lety +2

      I think they actually modeled it after the genesis jack and the fulcrum design.

    • @ApollyonApostol
      @ApollyonApostol Před 4 lety

      marius johansen I’ve actually used the rogue deadlift jack at my gym. Although it is really good at what it does, it takes up a lot of room. If I had to choose between the rogue or this one, I’d choose this one. By far more affordable and compact.

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  Před 4 lety +2

      Big jacks are nice in the fact they pick up both ends, but they eat up space in a home gym and with some deadlift bars there’s so much whip a single jack might be better.

  • @MeisterSexy11
    @MeisterSexy11 Před 3 lety +1
