The most accurate part of this video is the deterioration of social skills we've all experienced as a result of isolation. Julie touching her past self's face and asking all those creepy questions was hilarious! We've truly gone insane

Hmm.. I was kind of like that pre-pandamic, so I'm glad all you people have gone to my level. Welcome!
At first I was panicked and crying that I was forced to work throughout this entire pandemic as an essential worker...but now I'm actually a little grateful. I still go to work with the public 6 days (50 hrs) a week as usual, and then I still spend my nights with my boyfriend and my mom I live with as usual. As an essential worker and an introvert, not too much has changed in my life, besides the fact I haven't been in a restaurant or at a concert in a year.
"Who's in it?" "oh, um, psh... everyone."
These videos will literally be the only thing I miss from the pandemic.

I hope handshakes will slowly die and we will greet each other with just "Hi!". It's so awkward and unsanitary. Same with 6 feet distance, masks, hand sanitizer and avoiding people gathering.

A nurse was trying to start an IV in the back of my hand the other day. As she was about to insert the needle, she said: “I’m just going to hold your hand here for a minute” and my mental response was a whispered “thank you.”
I had surgery right before they postponed absolutely everything here in 2020, and the anesthesist came up to me and went "I would really like to shake your hands, but unfortunately that's not possible at the moment. I'm going to put the IV needle in" *grabs my hand, starts tapping the vein* and my mind was like "This is NOT making sense" :P.
(Right after that they took a final temperature reading and I was showing to be close to a fever, and I saw 3 doctors looking at each other like "Oh shit, this could mean trouble!" and then I got how serious it was after having underestimated it like many other people did before).
"Could you uh, could you smell them?" Perfectly sums up not having any physical contact for a year 😂

The months that followed were quite surreal; picture the entire "Strip" a ghost town--all the casinos dark, with boarded-up doorways. Construction crews decided to also tear up the entire "Strip"--looked like the aftermath of an earthquake. That would've been the perfect time to shoot an "apocalypse movie".

Cost is determined by how much are people willing to spend on a stock and how much someone is willing to sell for.
Short selling is when you sell the item before you own it. Hopefully it will be available at a lower price when you finally have to buy it to give it to the person you sold it to. In other words, you can make money by betting that a stock will go down in value.

Which is what was gonna happen to GameStop, but people (Reddit ppl) decided to buy the stocks so the price went up and all the investors that had betted against the company actually lost their money...

My Dentist actually put a glove on and gave me a handshake. He said he was sick of not shaking hands so he’s practicing “safe human touch” we both laughed, but that handshake felt really good.

Omg, when the hand started touching her face, my immediate response was to get uncomfortable because what if she had it 😂. The pandemic completely messed with my head. Recently, I got uncomfortable when they were showing a concert from 2019 on TV. I was like: "There's so many people and no one is even wearing a mask. That's not safe." 😂.

Aircraft travel forever changed after 9/11. Sadly I think because if the miss management of the pandemic from so many countries and so many people unwillingness to stay home for a bit this is now further out of control and something we will now have to constantly live with now.

Yesterday I had the horrifying realization that it is now weird to me if someone isn’t wearing a mask.
We're probably gonna be psychologically altered for life. Tsk.....
I have been having dreams where either I've forgotten to wear a mask and I'm like "oh no" or I'm surrounded by people without them and I'm like "oh no". Also sometimes when I see people on tv shows or movies without them or not social distancing my first instinct is "that's not right".

Me too! I had a dream going out in public taking subways. I was the only one not wearing a mask, I was panicking so much. Then, I finally found my mask in school bag and got into the subway station. I was the only one wearing a mask in the station and I was permitted to the take subway. No one else could because they’re not wearing masks. They starred at me with angry looks. This dream gave me so much anxiety in so many different levels.

The guy who tried to claim that there's a galactic federation out there and they've been in contact with people from his country and also the US, but the aliens don't want to reveal themselves to us yet since we're so unstable and divided and just generally not enlightened and civil enough yet. Supposedly (and many commented that this point sounds like the least plausible part of the story) Trump almost spilled the beans about it at some point but was persuaded not to.

We have. Even without all the other crazy/awful stuff, just the pandemic made us, an extremely social species, isolate ourselves. This is something that we already knew causes us emotional and psychological damage, but the pandemic made it so so much worse, now add in the other awful stuff and it's something that will affect us probably for years, maybe decades after the pandemic is actually over.
