Omg! We bought our guy (10) a tent for his birthday, that night he wanted a sleepover and off course, it thundered and lightening!!
As for drying a tent, this old girl guide would tell you to turn it inside out and hang it on a clothes line.

So fun to watch! Mine are all grown and this brought back fun memories! That peacock blanket is beautiful! Reminds me of the faux mink blankets my husband picked up in Korea. Very vibrant colors and we use them for camping because they are so warm!
Great episode! It's always fun to see your whole family and adventures. "I guess I'm sleeping in the tent tonight now...." There's no magic to drying out your tent. Just leave it set up as much as possible and move it into the sun/dry spots. (It looks like the kind of tent that can be up without being staked to the ground.) Be sure it's thoroughly dried out before you pack it up again. XO

The tent will dry out if you unstake it and roll it over, or hang it on a clothes line so the bottom gets dry.
