    Really cool technique and application, but I am always dying to see a full 360 of the hair before application to see exactly what you're working with all over. This helps my brain map out the route to get to that end result. That's what I struggle w the most. Learning how to read the hair like a map and then charting the course.

    I have a grown out balayage that looks more ombre because the ends are pretty much solid blonde and I've been looking for a way to make it pop a little more. I was going to tone the ends but i think I'll just do pieces

    • @KenraProfessional
      @KenraProfessional  Před 2 lety +1

      Especially to leave on for 45 min?

    • @KenraProfessional
      @KenraProfessional  Před 2 lety

      Hi Maxine! Thank you for the question! The majority of Lo's placement is focused on areas that have not been previously lightened. She does pull down the lightener into places that are more of a previous blend than a fully lightened section as well. She leaves some of the front hair pieces out that are already very light.
      It is important to always have a thorough consultation and asses the integrity of the hair before adding more lightener to previously lightened areas to determine if this service is right for the client. We hope this helps!

    You tone her with 5N ratio 1-2 and 9PV also 9 volume. Did you mix the 2color together and apply it to the whole head?

    • @KenraProfessional
      @KenraProfessional  Před rokem

      Hello, Lolita! 5N was applied as the shadow root on her scalp, and the 9PV was the overall toner on the rest of the pre-lightened areas for a soft blonde end result. We hope this helps!

    • @KenraProfessional
      @KenraProfessional  Před 2 lety

      Hello! What you charge for this service is ultimately up to you and is based on many factors. Perhaps consider charging what you would for a partial and incorporate any additional surcharges for product usage and time. Ultimately, the application can be done in as little as 10 minutes but process times will vary from client to client. We hope this helps!

    Beautiful! BUT personally, I don't like to see two thin stripes of blonde at the front right up to the root when the rest of the top section is dark, to me it looks unnatural and painted on. I prefer a more blended look that appears more natural, blended back into the darker shades more evenly.

      ? Okay? Some of us weren’t blessed with a thick head of hair……. Maybe I’m reading more into the comment than is intended so I apologize if I am but I don’t know why it’s necessary to make a comment like yours. Her hair is beautiful. The outcome of this service has made her already pretty hair even better🥰 Saying something positive and uplifting is so much easier and if it’s not a possibility then the saying nothing at all philosophy is probably the best route to take. Great video.

    • @KenraProfessional
      @KenraProfessional  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for your feedback! Keep in mind that the volume of developer does not determine the strength of the lightener as much as it effects the speed of the lift. This is why the video is shown as a technique that can be done so quickly. Using the 30vol allows for a faster processing time, and as long as the stylist is mindful of rinsing sooner than later, the integrity of the hair should not be negatively impacted. Thank you for watching!
