i continue to find this movie a nice trip down memory lane into the areas of edinburgh that no longer exist as the communities they were when the movie was made .
heh, that was me in the background behind the bike, on the path .. the little guy in the blue top at 0:54 the money thew threw had boy george instead of the queen on it.. the local shop, just behind me had us daft kids trying to buy stuff with it for a while lol
I remember watching that film as a kid. Then many years later moved to westerhailes, mainly clovey before they demolished little beruit, and had a friend who was kicking aboot during filming think he said it was a clowns face on the prop money but he would've only been little so could've been boy George! He also tried to spend it in shop!!!!! He got told to bolt🤣
Big Country's music on this film is wonderful. This clip's soundtrack is simply infectious. Adamson was a pure genius.
Makes me proud to be Scottish watching this classic film!
