Nicely done. Maybe do a ram upgrade video next or maybe a wifi card update.

I believe the RAM is soldered down, so can't be replaced.

Could you do a video on this same laptop but a how-to install for all the drivers and windows install etc? Have the exact same laptop and would like to keep my windows license/ or if there is a way to copy all the data from the HDD to the SSD, thatd be great

Thanks James, exactly what I wanted to do, replace the HD on my Asus Vivobook X705MA for a SSD, so, this video is very helpful. Once done, is it easy enough to transfer everything from the old drive to the new? Last question, does it make a significant difference to performance speed and boot up/shut down speed?

I use Acrobis True Image normally to transfer the old OS and data over. Yes it should make a huge difference.

No point the n4020 can only handle 8gb ram anyway

Hi Bruce I have this laptop and it’s painfully slow I can’t use photo shop it just is too slow and crashes eventually. Will this make the laptop useable for things like photoshop or is it just too much a low spec laptop for my needs. Thanks I’m advance
