Here is my latest mod review for Fallout 4. In this video we are covering a snow based and winter themed playthrough. This list takes inspiration from the iconic Metro series as well as some of my own personal tastes. I like winter because there’s something about it that makes it creepier.
Love a creepy atmosphere in a post apocalyptic wasteland, and it also drives in hopelessness and dread fitting in an apocalyptic setting.
Love the insightful thought on this theme, my next video is going to be sci-fi themed and I will try to deliver like I did on this one

Do you know if the Winter Gunners Armor replacer works well with the “gas masks of the wasteland?” Planning to do a nuclear winter play through.
Most of the outfits should work with the gas masks, although some outfits that include a hat could conflict, but you should be good.

as someone whos been following fallout 4 modding youtubers for a couple years now, you have great potential man. this was a great list, clear, concise, easy to understand, you have everything linked, and you're pleasant to listen to man, your voice isn't intrusive and your structure of sentences flows smooth as butter.

I just got winterized gunner outfits and Jesus it is probably the best armor mod I’ve ever seen.it looks absolutely fantastic.also while I am 2 years late this video is very high quality

Just this past week I fell back into fallout 4 and have been obsessed with making a winter survival load list. This is a great video and it nailed the exact atmosphere I was looking for unfortunately I'm on Xbox and don't know if all of these mods are available to me. I'll have to look around and see what I can get unless you're will to pin the Xbox links. Anyways yeah awesome vid you got my sub!
That's awesome to hear that I could help you out. Unfortunately, most mods on the Nexus are PC only. Many people have asked about Xbox and even ps4 compatibility. Personally, for the best experience a middle/high end PC would be ideal. I have a prebuilt cyber power PC I got for $900 on Black Friday. I don't remember any of the mods having Xbox ports, but just search on your Xbox and see if it comes up on the Bethesda mod page. If not then it doesn't exist

I know 900 and even 1,000 isn't far away and that is crazy to me. especially because I thought it was unobtainable and now I'm so close. This was amazing! This really helped me as I wanted a winter themed tactical playthrough. Also, what weapon modpacks are you using? I love the Lee-Enfield and I saw you pick it up.
Thank you! The mod packs I was using were the COLT M1911A1, Service Rifle, Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1, Beretta M9-FS and Combined Arms. Hope that helps!

If your looking for a metro like style gas mask system then I suggest using gas masks of the wasteland mod since it chucks metro Exodus's gas mask system into fallout 4 it has 2 official add-ons to install with and will make the game more hardcore. PS: use vivid weathers mod for the no snow under the roof mod if not it won't work and use the winter plugin

This is the video that finally pushed me over the edge to convert my Fallout 4 to a winter wonderland. Very well put together.
Also, I think Polluted Climates is bar none the best winter weather mod. However, I do wish they went and removed the Radstorm sounds whenever it snows or would at least have a patch that would do that. I believe they kept it in on purpose since they were trying to go with an actual nuclear winter approach, which is cool.

You missed out on Nuclear Winter 2287. This mod not only turns Fallout into a winter season but it also expands and enhances the survival mechanics of Fallout and transforms it into Metro.
It’s definitely a must-have even if you’re playing on survival.

Quick question regarding the load order of these mods, I'm currently trying to start a winter playthrough however I'm struggling to get the snow to fall, what order do you have the weather mods set? Great video by the way 👌
I did this so long ago I don’t have the load order anymore, but try checking descriptions of the mod page for the snowfall ones and the patch for the roofs and it should work

You are completely right about that because I am (mainly why I’ve made nothing out on the channel was because of school) and I do my best to negate it by making every video as good as it can be. I’m actually working on a new overhaul video that should be released soon. I also aim to upload skits I make with friends in school and whatever side projects I want to make.

I'm new to modding and I have Vivid Weathers currently installed. Is that one compatible with the list of mods here? any tips or workarounds? as much as possible I would like to use these mods without abandoning or breaking my current playthrough

I didn’t notice frame drops or anything. The way I constructed it made it pretty light I’m using a prebuilt with average specs
with nexus now having collections, it would be cool if for future modlists you could make a collection to go with it for others like me who cant mod at all lol. just an idea

Been thinking about going to the commonwealth they actually have a nuclear winter.
When I first tried all the suggested mods this morning everything worked but it was nonstop heavy Radstorming. I tried to fix it now 4 hours later I can’t even get the ground to have snow on it no matter what I do.
How do you get the winter gunner outfits on npcs? It’s my favorite between the green and desert versions but I can’t seem to get it into leveled lists.
Sometimes having google listen to everything i say helps find things. lmao. In any case, it helped me find this video.

It's me again. I figured out where to get weapon mods from.
Does Icepick make the world snowy all throughout the in-game year? If so, are there any mods that change the world only during the winter?
As far as I know there are only mods you can download separately for different seasons. But nothing as cool as having it change based on the in game month. Icepick makes it stay constantly snowy.
@@DudeItsJustADAM Do you know of any mods that add visible First Person Cold Breathing and or Snow covered crops that work in conjunction with Icepick? I found Nuclear Winter 2287 had the breathing but not really looking for a mod that heavy.

How do you safely install the first mod without vortex
Been using Nuclear Winter, The Cold Breathing effect doesn't seem to be working properly as it is far left out of my fov. Also having clipping on the Winterized Gunner Outfit Pack with the pipboy, anyone know how to use Outfit Studio to fix clipping on the pipboy?
i don’t use nuclear winter it’s broken and doesn’t work right and thats a outfit problem

I have some questions about LO and saves, would you happen to have any time to speak in discord? I believe for most of my playthough previsibines have been broken and I'm wondering if the issue is fixable.

Bethesda should of had it snowing in fallout 4 because the whole is based in Massachusetts and in mass it's always snowing
