Really, that sounded like shit. So did Page, his playing is horrible.
And then later in the concert, after having been singing for a couple hours, he nails the rock yells in Kashmir and sings Whole Lotta Love in the original key.
no shit. ass kickin!
I have thought the same as I saw RP maybe 15 years ago and he was losing his voice. Watching Kashmir, I was certain there were some digital shenanigans going on. But after seeing this (later), I have to wonder. Regardless, it is all awesome.
Jason Bonham, like father like son.
Jason is Definitely Better then Bonzo was. Not in the beginning but Jason is 38 here. Bonzo was dead from Addiction by this age.
I’ve seen Jason in the Les Zeppelin Experience several times in Allentown/Bethlehem PA area. He is a Master drummer MASTER!
Leaving absolutely no doubt that this is the greatest rock band of all time.
How the hell does he sing for 3hrs.. Not a crack!! just Amazing ,such a joy to watch and listen to them again. Well done to Jason!!! I do miss Jimmy's dragon suit!! AnD Robert plants hip huggers !!! Y'all still ROCK!!!
Because he is just that good.
The greatest and the biggest rock band that has ever graced a stage. Fifty + years later, I'm still rocking to their music, and will do so to the day I die!
Ditto … Til my end
JP Jones, one of the most talented men to ever walk this planet 👏
THE Greatest rock group EVER! NEVER to be Repeated!! Jimmy Page Absolute Legend!! Story Ends!!
If this was Led Zeppelin's goodbye, it is fitting that Jason filled in for his Dad to do it. John was smiling.
John Paul Jones is truly a master musician. Best bassist ever.
I gotta give it to Geddy Lee of Rush
He is incredible
@@willr5004 Geddy said John was the best rock bassist of all time
*sad Les Claypool noises*
Jack Bruce tho
I'd say the top spot for Bass will always belong to John Entwistle but defo Jones in least top 5
Best band of all time they disbanded after John Bonham passed on that's what you call heart and soul
Robert said Bonzo was the base that they built around....
@@marksheeran576 And he was not wrong. Look how they different sound even with a monster like Phil Collins.
@@AgusVilla1. must be from Phil's lil known roid period. ;) just kidding, pretty sure that's jr on the drums

If I live to be 100, I will still be listening to Zeppelin as loud as the nursing home will allow!
When I get there the rest of the hood will be listening to LZ like it or not.
If you keep listening to led Zepplin the nursing home won't take you, cause you won't need it

THE FANTASTIC 70s baby BEST DECADE EVEEEEEEEEER,.,
My husband and I are in our 60s, he now tells me to turn it down. I used to blast it when he was at work, he retired, now I go for drives by myself.
Jason makes them all 20 years younger. What a beat. It is literary in his DNA
Jase just crushed it like his daddy was taking over.. goat zep... been my favorite since pre puberty and that was in the early 70's... no other band ever in the same league.
Yep yep yep
Yes, you could tell age dropped away and they all felt young again and performed just like it was the seventies again.
Interesting misspelling, I guess it was written in his DNA!
Led Zeppelin is the real rock and roll
Bonzo smiling watching this with his son playing with the band !
Jimmy page is definitely a guitar god, he also looks like a Japanese grandpa
cause he used to be the british sport ambassador in china...something like that, can't remember exactly
That dance of him in the back at 2:15-2:20🤣🤣🤣awesome
He is so good, he turned into a asian

Mr Miyagi on steroids.
Robert Plant is the world best hard rock Lead Vocalist in the world.
gotta be who else is there ??
And the sexiest.
Well considering there's no more real music anymore id say so.
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT....
But don't forget ian gillan!
What truly impresses me is that, even after all these years, no member has lost their flair and spirit. Jones, Page and Plant still have that bad-assnes.
Sadly John Bonham has passed but Jason his son agreed to be part for the show. If i remember ?
Yep, and his presence might be the most badass of them all, he destroys the drums on this concert
Yep, and his presence might be the most badass of them all, he destroys the drums on this concert
Talk about a chip off the old block, Jason is badass & second to no one!
Robert Plant: „ I used to be in a band.“
Grandchildren: „oh grandpa come on you senile old man“
Robert Plant: „ let me show you..“
He's still in bands.
What a man 😍
Paul McCartney got that. Tried telling his grandkids he was famous and they didn't believe him.
funny thing is tony iommi was at a drinks party with some of his neighbours before covid and another tony asked him what he did ?? i play in a band said iommi ! have you had much success ?? its been kind to us says tony ! this iss the gods truth !
Page, I played guitar a bit soon
I show you
Pay attention, kiddoes. This is what your grandparents are still jamming out to after you go to bed.
Amen brother! When I'm home from being out of town my neighbors know " hay scotty must be home " garage door open and led zeppelin on 11 !!

Yep😂😂😂😂
Exactly. And the new, young....so called artist.....need to pay attention to bands like Zep and the stones and take notes. This is how it should be done.
My grandparents almost never listen to music 😭
@@laserbeam002 that's what I do , watch all the others from the 60s to the 90s and take notes for when i have my band 😌
There's something surreal about seeing a trio of septuagenarians kick more ass in 5 minutes than all of the under-30 bands on the planet combined.
Damn right. All these other kiddie bands need to pay attention and take notes.

So true.
True ... and Jason is no slouch either!
Led Zeppelin still kicking it at a later age.
50 yrs later these dudes still feel it. LOVE SEEING THAT PASSION❤❤❤❤❤
How is it that Robert's voice has gotten better over the years?
+Triscuitlove It hasn't. That's not a diss either. He's a great singer but c'mon, a spade is a spade and he did not get better than he was when he was in his prime. That's why he sings in lower keys now.
+Simon Rivas But we'll just say it is cos he's Mr Robert Plant of the great band Led Zepplin ;-)
+Triscuitlove You forgot that they sold their souls ;)
+Milan M yeah, right.. more likely an attempt to push their publicity over the top.
+Triscuitlove That is a mystery how can his voice still sound that great?Thats the mighty Led Zep for you I guess!
I am 65 years old. I still listen to them. nothing beats led zep
I guess it now makes you 67 - welcome to my world - I'm 76 and it just gets better! These guys' are like the 'Stones' they just keep playing until they drop - no point in lying down - wondering when you take your last breath!
Im 65 , lol! feel ageless, when I listen ...
I'm 51 always heard their name at home but never got into their music til little over a year. Love them. I even bought their greatest double CD (even tho cds are not that popular anymore) but someone stole it along with Eagles, Journey, n other's all greatest hits 😂😂😂

JPJ was the glue that kept this band's sound together.
Thank you! He pushed himself to be front and center, like the other two
Jason simply kills it!!!! Drumming just like his dad!

He really is. Unbelievable
He's gotta ditch that double bass pedal tho...thats a no no...!

I was blessed having the honor to see them 5 times live. I can die happy :)

Was 3 outa 6, last 3, Plants son died, Plant was in car accident and Bonham died. Was to see all 3 in Philadelphia.
@john thonig: I did see Plant in his I'm in the Mood tour.
Even just once makes me to think the same...
I thank That Robert Plant is the best
I can't get enough. Have to listen to this whenever it crosses my mind.
I’m 54 , I grew up with their music , Led Zeppelin, you are Gods of Rock music , respect ✊
These guys are just having a blast playing this song! All smiles. No doubt stirring up some amazing memories. Fantastic!!! 🤩
THEY ARE JUST AS GOOD AS WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG. I LOVE THIS BAND.
Hello, how are you doing? It is nice seeing you here.
Ils sont toujours aussi bon c'est comme le bon vin ils se bonifiés en vieillissant j aime beaucoup ce très grand groupe 👍
No need to be dishonest because you like them. If this were average people covering the song, it would be heavily bashed. It's a great song, but Page cannot play as well as he used to and it shows.
@@casual35 thats ok pal maybe one day you will learn to play
@@casual35 to bad you werent there to play in his place
Robert identified the band...they were all an perfect match..but when when you heard that voice you knew who the band was..
Children and Grandchildren, this is what your parents and grandparents grew up on. You are "In the Presence of Greatness"
Since this stuff is what was primarily played in the house during my childhood and adolescence, I grew up on it too. (I’m mid-20’s btw.)

Oh yea
Robert looking like a wailing angel descending from heaven.. Jimmy like a wizard .. johns son looking like his father.. and jpj looking like a music teacher
I love how with modern recording technology you can really hear how massive their sound is
Kasperme Exactly, brother!
Imagine that technology at that time!
God bless Led Zeppelin forever 🙏🏻
Kasperme massive is a great way to describe it. Bands still ain’t surpassed this level of heavy.
Mostly a platform from John Bonham
Imagine when page was plugged into plexis at 129 dB
They are definitely one of a kind band
The more you listen to them, the better they get. All four are individual, when they do their thing together, the result is explosive and the best the world will ever experience.
My life would never be the same had Led Zeppelin never came to be. They
Truly changed my life and brought me a happiness only surpassed by God
john bonham must be proud of his son
Nor really..he's bald 😂
I know bonzo had a mop
Gotta get the bandanna going
@ojeffma ma he can’t explain why cause it’s a blatant lie, Jason is unreal.
Wait til you see their car collection.
Have you seen the Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin ? The look on Robert Plants face when Jason Bonham walked on stage to play the drums was ssooo genuine....and yes I cried....
The fact these guys never screwed over John’s family or finagled away his money says a lot about their character versus a lot of the bands in their day and thereafter. I feel like that’s why Jason was here and why we all got this with that extra Bonham punch. They seem to really love him and I love that for Jason.
Without a doubt, the Greatest Rock Band ever. I was fortunate enough to have seen them in concert in Houston in 1974!!!
Drug Music.
They didn’t tour in 1974 lol ….. either 1976 and 1978 ……

Bonamassa is alot of gimmickry . Not much originality
I absolutely love bonamassa. but when you look at the body of work, influence and innovation, page is a beast and is 2nd only to Hendrix
Iommi is better with half the fingers. Hetfield is better too. Page isn't much of an innovator.
Long Live Led Zeppelin ... Yeah !!!
Inmortal
This was their best live version of black dog! Superb on every level, great stuff.
It aint tho, this version is tuned down
Gotta check the 1971 Belfast version, Plant hit 90% of the high notes, and he hit them strong asf
Check it out
Just no. You're getting carried away. This is great though
Pages playing is awful here
This is awesome to see and glad they did it, but Zep peaked in 1973. Page reached glorious heights and was never the same forever after. He’s still my all time favorite though.
Is this concert avail to buy?
The amazing sound of Led Zeppelin was already so magical back then!
