  • TW/ Mention of JUNK and reproductive organs
    Here's me just passing on some advice/story time about some issues I've had with testosterone and how its reacted with my JUNK and other organs in that region and how its important to get this checked if you're having similar issues as there are localized creams that can help with these.
    just want to say here that there is a chance that cycles can start back up using this if you haven't had hysto so I will update you on if this happens

    I'm super grateful to you for discussing these sensitive topics that more people need be wary and aware of because unfortunately with all of the knowledge and research we DO have, sadly transgender issues are still not well-known or dealt with properly. I personally have never engaged in any such sexual activities and never will until completion of all stages of my below surgery, however I do commend you on being able to put yourself out there like this for all of us. ❤

    Thank you for talking about this!! I think a lot of trans people kind of think they know all there is to know but I had no idea this was a thing that could happen. I've definitely heard people say that keeping your reproductive organs after being on t gives you a higher risk for cancer, but since this is widely known as a myth now I just assumed that t was totally safe for that area.

    Thank you so much for making this video. I'm very grateful for it as someone who recently started T and was also unaware. This will help a lot of people. I really hope the cream works well for you, wishing you the best. Would love to see more medical-type videos from you in the future or just videos talking about the things other trans people do not often discuss.

    So many doctors have no idea how to help those who are on HRT bc the lack of studies and there not being a specialist in their field so they tend to throw antibiotics our way and hope for the best, it's really sad

    Thank you for making this video. I’m 2.5 years on T and I’m really suffering badly from my atrophy at the moment. I use Ovestin cream nightly but only after my GP sent me for multiple blood tests, a smear and ultrasound which was really triggering for me only for the LTC to diagnose me correctly. It’s been really tough dealing with the discomfort, dryness, bleeding and feeling like I constantly have a UTI, so it’s really reassuring to know that someone else is going through the same as me.

Idk how referrals work in other countries, but for any issue if a doctor just sends you home ask to see if you can go to a more specific doctor for it.

    I knew this was a thing that could happen & I think I've already been having some issues pre-T because I'm likely starting pre-menopause BEFORE GODDAMN 30, so... I hope that it doesn't worsen on T, but it's really good that you're putting this info out there. Fingers crossed this doesn't happen!! I'm kinda nonbinary, kinda a dude [demiboy?] so... I don't think I plan to be on T indefinitely. I'm definitely going on a low dose, either way, because I'm cool with changes happening slowly. As much as I would love to be on enough to completely stop my menstrual cycle/monthly hormonal hell, I'm a fucking wimp & couldn't deal with too many negative side effects. Lol

    I had a uti once in past so thought it was that but I tested negative for that and when they did exam said I have atrophy down below and need to take estrogen down below. It’s so horrible I have to do it twice a week and it really is bothersome

    I wanna start T and hearing abt atrophy is scary, tho I do just want to take it up to 3-4 months, or until I get the voice I want, and then stop. Can atrophy still happen like that or is it with prolonged use? I just feel like I can pass quite well without T but my voice is probably one of my biggest insecurities and one I feel gives me away

    • @MxMorphling
      @MxMorphling  Před 3 měsíci +2

      I think it's more prolonged use. I stopped after about 4 years (only started getting bad near the end) but everything has gone back to normal after stopping T and I feel okay. And I get you, one thing I loved about T is how it deepened my voice, the first 5 months really brought my voice down to a nice deeper or more neutral state

      Precious to a woman who wants children. To someone who doesn't want kids, doesn't want to be female, feels male in mind & spirit, & gets nothing but pain & illness from it (with or without testosterone, some of us are still "natural" & this organ causes hell/agony), it very much is 'junk" to them, mine is ruining my life & I wanted it out since I very first hit puberty. Before I hit puberty I was in denial I had one, & I felt extremely betrayed by my own body when female hormones kicked in.

      @@user-vu7rv1xf1lexcuse me. I'm a woman who doesn't want to have kids but I want my vagina, menstrual cycle, uterus, ovaries all the parts and functions to work in perfect conditions. Vagina is not just a baby popping machine. It's also for experiencing sex and more than that it's my body. Just like hands and feet. So don't club all biological women with you. Every part of my body is precious and I make sure I keep myself in tune with my body so that I can always get treated if someone goes wrong. I won't chop off my breasts because I'll never breastfeed.
