I submitted 136 sports cards tp PSA in January of 2020 and just got the submission back in the mail! I submitted basketball cards from the '90s that I bought raw and ungraded. Also, baseball cards and football cards. I was amazed at what grades I got and am super pumped top submit more cards to PSA in the future.
Sportscard collecting and investing is so much more fun when you have your cards professionally authenticated and graded by the industry leader, PSA. Not only is grading cards exciting but getting a PSA 10 or a PSA 9 card back increases the value substantially. After getting your sports cards graded by PSA they become an investment.

This is the catch 22 with collectors. We all love to talk about how much stuff is worth, or how much something will be worth.
Yet we get overly attached to what we have and never went to sell. So we're essentially stuck with valuable items we can't let go of. LOL

I got 7 Shaq topps gold psa10 rookie cards, sold all 6 if them for about $2800 each but I kept 1 for my PC. The shaq topps rookie card is a long term hold unless you need the money just sell it, Cheers and keep on hustling.

Well the creitability of who is grading your cards, send in a 10 get back a 6 not from psa other grading individuals be careful smart.lf you can go in person do not let your cards out of your sight. Be safe ,happy collecting.
Glad PSA gave you a 10 for that 92 Topps Gold Shaq RC, cause it really seem a bit off-centered. Thank God PSA are a bit more lenient for centering.

Great stuff, watched the one on cleaning too. I’ve never submitted & not sure if I can due to cost, funds are tight. This made me dig out my Shaq collection of over 100 cards & was delighted to find several I see here, Power in the Key, Nuts & Bolts, Finest, Topps Gold, etc. Gonna be up late cleaning up some thanks to the other video. I thought cleaning was a no-no like coins, thanks. Really glad to get into them so my minds not occupied due to my PTSD. Hey though I’m blessed & I embrace these stigmatized initials I EARNED THEM!! Been really trying to dive deep into the 90s basketball scene on ebay recently and it's a bit overwhelming. Don't really know where to start and what is worth it. This video is helping me a lot!

I was a collector when i was a kid. Sold my collection right before the last dance came out. Pissed! Half my collection probably tripled! Anyways im a coin collector and now im tryin to cherry pick sports cards again. So how do you look up prices and print runs? Or rarity i guess? I need a lil direction. I can do the research the same way i do with my coins. But i dont know where to look. Other than having to buy becketts again.

I found a cardboard stand up of Michael Jordan it's about a foot tall its a 1998 upper deck it's 6 out of 6 he gas the black jersey with red numbers can't find it anywhere on ebay
Just a couple years ago, you could get a PSA 10 Jr UD for around $400 - $500.
True collector question: for refractors, is it better to keep the coating ON before grading and sell as is if MINT? Or take off like you mentioned and grade that way? Have seen both ways but curious your opinion thx!

PSA is being pretty tough with grading right now(they are overwhelmed, and are hiring if you want a job there), but you take proper care of your cards before you make a submission, But I would guess that the majority of your grades are a nine.

Your video really inspired me to look into some of these older football sets. So with my training wheels on so to speak I bought 5 2005 ultra Tom brady's thinking that cards 15yrs old I only paid 20 dollars am I on the right track. I'm hoping one or two will be worth grading or do I need to look into more high end older stuff. I'd love your opinion please.

Hi Matt. Great to see you're back. Re: C Jones minis. Absolutely insane PSA did not slab them with a better presentation in mind. The one that slid through the indentation is unforgivable, of course. But, the others, aren't a whole lot better, sliding down to the bottom and not straight. Oh well ... Post edit - Just saw a slabbed Beckett. 1000x better.

Shaq is very undervalued. He was the more dominant force than Kobe in their early championships. He is a top ten player of all time, just underrated due to the modern day NBA when 3 point is what matters. Shaq was a beast.
Its because of junk submissions like this, that psa has now jacked up their prices.

I have horrible luck with PSA . I dont know how you get such good grades on 90s stuff. Never got a 10 before even on cards pack pulled and sent right away. Nice job man!
bc they have a list who they give the 10s to on certain years/players etc ... its all rigged ... sorry but when youre submitting cards STRAIGHT OUT OF THE PACK OR SET FACTORY SEALED NEVER TOUCHED OR OPENED EVER its literally NOT possible to not get a 10 unless the centering is just flat out terrible or there are factory defects on the card like bubbles or spots etc .... I have seen soooo many "PSA10" cards that were bought raw and went through 3 different owners in there times, with bad centering, white marks on edges and corners .. but they manage to somehow give them a 10? meanwhile others who are the only ones who've ever touched the cards have literal 10s fresh out of a pack or set factory sealed an 8 or 9?? yea ok ...
@@tyreesneed to reply to my old comment, I actually meant I've never got 10s on 90s cards. That recently changed as I received a 10 on a Vince carter sp authentic rc. I agree though, there is definitely some selective 10s being handed out.

Congrats on all the nice grades! I'm curious if you were upcharged for all those since you sent them in bulk? Also, I know these were submitted before the boom but isn't the limit of bulk value cards $99? If we're supposed to declare the value as after being graded, how were you able to submit so many of these cards that would be valued over $100 for sure even if they weren't 10s. Any insight would be great, cheers!

There are more then 10 aqueous rest cards . The rumors are about 50 of each.

Hello!,, We watched your videos on how to submit our cards..We submitted in November 2020 ,and a return in 2 months ,and now they were saying we will not get them back until July as they are overwhelmed with submissions. What is your experience and what can we do about this? We paid for a membership that said we would get them back in two months? Gary
