Thank you for the review. I've been trying this product for about 4 weeks now. I like it and it is my 1st retinal product ever. It does caught a little bit dryness to my skin but no peeling or sensitivity or burning. I feel like that's what retinals do and it does work effectively. When my skin feels dry, I just add extra hydration to skin by using a heavy moisturizer but what really helps is to exfoliate. When I exfoliate my skin feel like I've removed that dry dead layer of skin from the retinal. My skin looks so bright, and my products seem to absorb amazedly. I will continue to sticky to this product because it does work for my skin. I personally do not mind the dryness because its tolerable.

per YTTP: "Use once a week to start, gradually increasing frequency to every night, as tolerated."

Picked up this product on the last Sephora sale as a last second impulse buy! Thank you for your video, i never tried retinol or retinal and now I have a lot more confidence to actually try it now!

for anyone who want the best retinol product try the geek and gorgeous retinals, retinal is said to be better than retinol because it doesn't require any conversion when applied on the skin like the retinol does.

What was your routine on retinal day? Cleanser, retinal, moisturizer, oil and then bed. Then back regular routine in the morning including spf ?

my routine was a double cleanse and then a niacinamide serum followed up with a lightweight moisturizer and then this product and a heavier moisturizer! i try to cut back on sensitivity as much as possible with retinol!

Hi Alex! Thanks for the review, I'm interested in possibly getting it now. How long do you think the bottle lasts?

It depends on how frequently can you tolerate retinoids. I can only tolerate them like two consecutive days and I need a break like two-three days. So for me it’s lasting quite a long time.
$68 is too much for me for a serum so I’m probably gonna go back to maelove moonlight next time to save the extra $32. YTTP retinal is fragrance free and essential oil free so I’m willing to spend extra since I’m taking a break from using fragranced products.
I did try to use retinal everyday, it made my skin dry and red. So I limited my use to two to three times a week and I took breaks from it. I did have to save on the cleanser and moisturizer to get the serum.

@@AwesomePikachu808 thanks for the comment. I would suggest getting tretinoin if you have health insurance that covers it at the doctors. It’s basically the same thing as this but it may cause more irritation if you can’t handle this serum as much. I just brought it up because tretinoin is much cheaper for me than this bottle (with health insurance).

i would say that my bottle will last around 5 months, but i do only use it twice a week and it doesn’t take much of this project! :)
