- Try "The Edge" - a great synthesizer! It makes powerful basses and cool sounds. Perfect for techno and ambient music. Give it a go!
At first, I was a bit overwhelmed with the two oscillators. Now, I wouldn't want to be without this synth. It gives me so many sounds and noises. Locking "Trent Reznor" in a box and out comes "The Edge" - that fits in a way... industrial goes well, too. On the other hand, it can also produce punchy bass beats. Combined with the Crave, it gets really cool.

Thanks for watching, kiunthmo. As a former guitar player, I am relatively new to synths. I started with the Crave last year and recently read some reviews about the Edge. Since my setup lacked a step sequencer, I decided to buy it after watching a few videos. I haven’t played the DFAM, and while many say the Edge is a kind of clone, it does have a unique sound. The most important thing for me was a quote from one review: "Trent Reznor in a box," and that is really true. I highly recommend testing it out. I really enjoy it, even though it's pretty tricky to combine with my Volcas
