Mediocre game at best, the reviews are totally right, as they usually are with video games and not movies mind you. Nothing new, predictable story and ending. If I want the same game all the time I just play FarCry or Assassin's Creed, at least FarCry has good villains with a good written story around the bullshit fetch this do that things 😅

Underrated masterpiece.
Still can't believe that they cancelled part 2.
They canceled part 2, its true. But that doesnt mean that the sequel never goes out. I mean, they could work on it in a few years. They canceled in 2019, maybe with the realease in PC and the patches that fixed the game, the opinion of the bosses may change. The game sold good and the critics was very good to ( except the first year that the game was a litle bit broken). Soon or later it will be a sequel i think

Masterpiece is way too strong a word for it, but in all honesty, I would jump on the sequel the second I heard about it. There was plenty to improve on, but also a whole lot done right and a ton of potential in that world that hasn't been tapped into.
to be honest, it doesn't need a sequel. It tied things up nicely, like the last of us did, that didn't need a sequel either.

I always loved how iron mike tried to keep the peace and avoid unnecessary killing. To keep his humanity. To not kill needlessly. Like when he says us is every soul that ain't walking around trying to eat us. When humanity should have been coming together they turn on each other.
Sam Witwer is a fucking legend, first Maul now Deacon, he's absolutely incredible in everything. Now we need one for Geralt of Rivia please, and not from the Netflix show either, but from the superb, masterful, legendary game.

I just finished this game. It’s a masterpiece!! Leaving all those characters behind was like being punched in the gut. I haven’t felt that way since I finished Red Dead Redemption 2.

One of my favorite games of all time, Deacon St John is a legendary protagonist.
Honestly even despite the negatives of this game it will always be a 10/10 for me. That it won’t get a sequel is a criminal on Sony’s part.

It's been a year, I'm back, and still feel the same
Just played through; I didn't see a single spoiler and made sure not to look at any youtube videos until I was done. This game had me saying "one more mission I gotta know" for like hours straight. This has such a gripping story. even when I met his wife again, it seemed so bad I had to keep playing, and it got better.. very few games can do that. This is such an under rated gem. gameplay 8/10 story 11/10

Aaaaaaand Sony cancelled Days Gone 2 for The Lust of Us remake. This is starting to get boring and annoying. We need more new games new content new stories but nowadays every game company making remakes. Such a waste of a potential.. BTW such a cool edit bro this was too good.

i always watch your videos, but somehow i missed this one. i recently just played this game and for all that is holy, i dont understand why its not more famous. The story, the characters, the gameplay and the worldbuilding is so good. i cried several times during the story due to friendship, loss and love. a thing that rarely any game achieves ... why is this not more known :/
the problem is, you have to play on the hardest difficulty, and be somewhat decent at games, for the combat to really shine. gaming journos's do have not do or have these things.
